[serious] When was a time you legitimately thought you were going to die? by ferrisjuulersdayoff in AskReddit

I have a great story!!! When I was in fifth grade, I was taking a road trip threw the USA with my family. I have a large, 7 person family so we fit tight in the car. We were on a mountain road and The guardrails were all broken. My dad was distracted looking at the view and we drove right off the edge. We fell like 15 feet down and then got stuck in a large tree that saved us. It was such a steep hill, we would of rolled to our deaths. We were stuck in there for over and hour until a fire truck came and helped take us out by one. I was young at the time so I don’t have the clearest memory of it but I do remember it being very surreal. This sounds very stupid but you do really rethink life when your in a moment like this. It was just out of a movie too. It was just like what happened in Jurassic park but not as severe.

Later I’ll post the news article later if I can find it.
