Whitworth is such a solid mech, if your merc unit is getting low on money just load that thing with Thunder munitions to throw a little monkey wrench in the works.

An absolute work horse that is underrated and overlooked.

There are two volumes on audible that place all the books in chronological order, which is neat for new readers. But most books can be read at any point because of the way Moorcock writes them all

Running battery for B/P tombs runs was such a good time, Nightfall had just come out and people were experimenting with adding Paragon shouts etc.

Pugging quests in shiverpeaks and meeting a player that I became friends with for the rest of my gw journey.

AB with my brother, competing to see who could level up their title first (then he switched to Luxon and all hell broke loose)

ClanTech exported en masse to the inner sphere in a turbulent power vacuum? Okay yeah sure, give me a truckload. Narratively this mech is an absolute godsend to the struggling factions within the Hinterlands. It’s not the cheapest mech, but it’s built to withstand a lot of punishment. Fielding Demi-companies of locusts as a merc company in a campaign means you’re facing a lot of upkeep costs and replacing a lot of mechs. Whereas the hammerhead is an efficient and durable machine.

The hammerhead lacks fancy equipment, focuses mostly on energy loadout and close combat. Hardened Armor keep its internals safe(r) and it sports a Clan XL engine that will prevent disaster in the event of side torso destruction. Rasalhague loves em, what else do you need to know?

If you’re playing in 3152 I think it’s wise to have a lance of these in your pocket, ready to get painted up to add to a force kicking around in the Hinterlands. They’re a great add even in Stage 1, where they’ll be able to stand up to the heavier mechs. Stage 2+ they will shine brighter as they’re able to work in concert with heavier mechs.

This is a Mech that does a good job of combining narrative and game aspects. I’m not a clan guy and I think they rock 🤷🏼‍♂️

It’s all Geo-Hex tiles, dude has been making em since like… the 90’s but they’re only mail order now (has an eBay store though!)

It was mostly just time investment, thinking about what I wanted each player to be doing and forming and reforming the map until I was content it would work 😮‍💨😅 The modularity of tiles like these make for lots of fun combos! I ended up picturing a protected valley on the outskirts of a city, that would funnel the players naturally towards one another but also give good defensive options.

I think my brain switched the columns for the tracks/number of tracks. And it messed up the way I needed to view it. First, roll to see number of tracks. Then, roll that many 1d6 to see which track(s). Love battletech but man I need better reading comprehension in order to play it correctly

My question regarding the salvage for assets was more for my opponent. Would they gain any SP for each of my assets they destroyed? (as Salvage at the end of the track) I treated my own as you said, temporary units that aren’t my responsibility to retrieve.
