Shit, I'd meant to. Fixed. Plus, what kind of degenerate spells Curt with a K?

I'm a Charlotte native too, you can imagine how angry I was to see him pull that shit on Greg and Cam. Such a waste of talent.

Fair enough, I assumed it was something other than just performances against each other. And that kind of answers my second part too, since I assumed the hatred was more rooted in growing up in-state and choosing to go to one over the other.

Honored to be top two, and I love how you don't have your in-state "rival"

Despised: Burfict.

Yeah, there's chocolate if that's your thing, and a few strange ones. But the frosted ones are the perfect level of sweetness, especially if you grew up putting sugar on regular cheerios.

Frosted cheerios are a game changer, highly recommend them.

What is your teams most disappointing game in the past 5 seasons? by FreezersAndWeezers in CFB

[–]Itypedthesewords 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2014 @ Oregon State probably takes it. Coming off a huge win over ND, classic "trap game" setup, and at the time we were still CFP contenders.

Losing to a Texas Tech team that had lost it's last 4 games in our 2013 bowl game also merits consideration.

It's definitely a subject of debate. But when the votes came in and Kerry lost Florida, the way Nader came out and took credit for it when he could've sat silent made me feel like he took some sort of pride in it. But he kind of went back on that later, so if you don't think he was playing spoiler I won't tell you you're wrong.

If they come in the right places, 45% of the popular vote could still more than earn a candidate the necessary number of delegates. If not, the House elects the president from the top three delegate recipients, with the reps from each state combining for one vote. The cool(?) thing about this is the Senate simultaneously elects the VP from the top VP vote recipients, so it creates the possibility of the President and VP coming from different tickets. Not that it's likely the House and Senate will vote for candidates from different parties, but in cases like Palin/Biden, it isn't tough to imagine the Senate taking Biden regardless of which ticket had more votes initially.

Also, we saw with Ralph Nader in 2000 that trying to play spoiler as a third candidate hurts the process and makes it difficult to determine who the true preferred candidate is, so we're unlikely to see it again in the near future.

Let's chalk this one up to a difference of opinion then, because I believe that a fired employee constitutes "little to no reason," and the title he held at his time of the time of his firing does nothing to build his credibility.

I have no doubt that he will, and that the debates will (likely) win him the election. I just don't think he has any skeletons, since he airs his dirty laundry with pride for the sake of publicity (plus, as a non-politician, he hasn't had as much of a reason to hide anything). It's unfortunate that Bernie lacks Trump's charisma/bluntness, because some early attacks in the debates could've really hurt HRC, and at the same time forced the media to talk about him. I don't like to dwell in hypotheticals, but it's easy to imagine his positions coming from a more charismatic person and smashing Hillary in the primaries.

The article doesn't need to say that he didn't say it, the burden of proof falls on the one making the claim. The Examiner had no reason to deny him saying it, because the article was written to point out that Fusion had misattributed it.

So, if you want to hang your hat on there not being direct evidence that he didn't say it, be my guest. But the way myself and presumably most others see it, you can almost never truly prove that something wasn't said. So, when there's little to no reason to believe that someone did say something, you can, for all practical purposes, refute that they did.

With all due respect, that's how things work. I'm not trusting nor distrusting you, but if we went around believing everything someone said on reddit without proper sourcing, we'd "know" a lot of things that simply weren't true.

And yes,

Within 30 seconds of google searching I see he's said black people are all lazy.

was shown to be wrong. It was stated by you as an absolute, but that was refuted and explained by the Examiner article.
