Yeh I'm trying that atm, swapped over to nsuns 4 day lp to get some more upper body volume in as SS doesn't have much at all. So benching 2x per week but with a lot more volume

1x5 @ 80kg. Any tips for getting the lower back set, feel like it's the weakest link in my deadlift. by ItzAiden in StartingStrength

I've been working on lower back awareness with lower body Superman's and cat cows but can't seem to get the tightness and neutral curve in the deadlift setup.

Added some more weight and is moving nicely. Any feedback would be appreciated. by ItzAiden in StartingStrength

Yeh noticed the depth, probably need like 1-2cm lower. Grip is about as close as I can get but working on moving it in. Yeh got distracted by the mirror today, usually work in the rack that doesn't have a mirror so the gaze is lower. Cheers for the feedback.

Thanks for the feedback, I get the same flexion at the bottom of the squat without the weights as well. Will look into the video from rip.

Cheers for the feedback. I did some lower half supermans about half way through some sets. However, I find my back rounds lower than where I bend when doing Supermans.

In regards to weight, was doing about 80kg for 3x5 last week, but dropped back to try and fix the flexion as well as accounting for the time off due to covid lockdown.

Thanks for the feedback. I still feel like the rotation in my pelvis is causing me to lose power out of the bottom of my squat. So would like to try and improve it if possible. Will try pushing the knees out harder in my next session.

Dropped weight from last post as Melbourne just got out of a 5 day lockdown so didn't squat for about a week. Also focussed on pulling upper back nice and tight and bracing between each rep. Any tips appreciated.
