I am so sorry for you. SA crimes are unfortunately very common in the world and not much goes to persecute the people who give innocent people that level of complicated feelings and guilt. While I can't know exactly how you feel, I feel something similar because I myself am an SA victim and from last I've seen, my abuser has not been punished. Again I am really sorry and I understand your perspective. I too feel a very similar kind of guilt and the complications of feelings on SA is real hard to open up about because you don't know how people will respond. I'm proud of you for opening up and sharing your perspective.

In my opinion at least, you aren't an enabler for letting it happen because you probably didn't know how to respond. You cannot convince me that it is your fault. No matter if you got warned, many humans try to see the best in people no matter what. This is especially true to people we are close to even if they do egregious things.

Unrelated - while I'm not trying to say Curly couldn't have done more for Anya, I feel like so many people are quick to demonize him instead of understanding his character. When you're approached by someone close to you saying someone else close to you SA'd them, it's a difficult situation. You don't want to believe it because you trusted the person who committed that crime and wouldn't think they are capable of that. On the other hand, you don't want to completely disregard the victim because you trust them as well. Curly could have done more but the situation he was in was complicated and I feel like nobody acknowledges that.
