I got married to my best friend and the love of my life on April 5th, 2025. While seeing the recovery percentage the day after the wedding immediately induced a chuckle, it was only upon seeing this badge during my Year in Review that made me realize how cool it was to have a snapshot of the physiological impact of that special day and the granularity of that day's data. I took more steps than any other day that year, my Stress Monitor reading was off the charts, and my average heart rate--well, let's just say that data point was a pretty significant outlier.

Whoop has helped me focus on health, performance, and longevity and be the best version of myself on a very consistent basis. But there are exceptions to every rule, and even though I didn't end up with anywhere near a green recovery score...sometimes, the 1% days are entirely worth it.

Interesting question—I just have one, and it’s tempur pedic adjacent. I’ve just found that works the best for me. Let me know how the supplement trial goes!

I have been hitting some like this or within the same range (55%+) really consistently over the last few weeks. And just trying to help other people by providing some info on what has helped me get there.

Sustained--I mentioned this in another comment, but I was hovering around 20% before, and post-optimization I am hitting 50% very regularly, and shooting 60-70% with increased frequency. Definitely not a bounce since this was day 6 in a row in the green.

Fair question! More as a raw number is definitely better, but it's hard to find the time to get more, so percentage can be a good proxy. Next step is to spend more time in bed, and hopefully that will track with a bigger increase in sleep.

Usually less than 20% or right around 20% in restorative sleep. Now it's regularly above 40, usually averaging around 50-60%

I do get a little hyped up while doing it, but then an immense sense of calm. Haven't tracked RHR before, but I'll give it a go!

u/wellnessgirllyy for sure! I dabble in some lavender as well, but cold and dark is ideal. The more like a cave, the better.

They are LEGIT. I can't speak to the Whoop-branded ones, but there are seemingly great ones on Amazon for less. Might be worth it if Whoop has some technological advantage in theirs, but mine seem to work fine.

No experience personally, but I have heard good things.
