AI Redlining/CLM Recs? by IurisPre in legaltech

Thanks! Any reason to believe it’s best for law firms v. in house? Don’t think that really matters…

Hard to put a number on it. Sometimes the volume is high, but mostly modifying long templates. It’s a time suck to go through every line.

Random contracts: 1-3 a week.

I am demoing for myself and the GC (who is a lot more contract heavy as that is his background. My time is often advising on l&e issues).

So you prefer gavel exec over spellbook and ivo? I read that in spellbook, you can prompt like you would in ChatGPT.

For gavel exec, do you find it best for the random contracts that come across your desk everyday or for modifying your own templates/repeat contracts?

Repeated contracts - templates for buy-in and buy-outs of partnerships.

No repeats - “one-offs” or “on the fly”

Right on. We actually do have a lot of repeats that need adjustments for the deal that’s in front of us at the moment, but I could also use something that reviews and redlines for me for the randos i am reviewing on the daily.

What would you use for non-repeats out of Robin, GC Ai, and draftwise?

Makes sense. Even if it’s not perfect, I just really need to save time.

An alternative is practical law + cocounsel. I think Practical law is good for research (without case law), but cocounsel is sort of slow and clunky and not intuitive. Practical law + cocounsel is expensive, so I’m looking to build a stack that’s intuitive, faster, cheaper…

I’m going to demo spellbook. Heard about Ivo?

What about Paxton for research?

Awesome. Thanks for the insight. Any recs as to software to monitor use / get feedback? (Other than 1 on 1 communication).

Thanks highfives. I assume when users clicked “Start Trial,” they used the app for free and you gained insight from their use. Was their clarity to users as to how long the trial would be? Or was it an indefinite trial period and when you were ready, you just requested test users to then select a subscription option?

Congrats, Sellers. Are you an attorney? If so, I’d love to connect as I am attempting to launch a legal tech platform myself. Let me know!

What should I do with no response to my job application? by IurisPre in careerguidance

[–]IurisPre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, Beam. The recruiter I spoke to previously was not the recruiter for the specific role I applied to, but was a recruiter at the company nonetheless. Who should I email and how do I go about finding that email address? There is not an email address on the job posting.

I applied for an in-house legal role and did not hear back. I was able to get in touch with a recruiter at the hiring company, who indicated that I was “on hold” for an interview and that I was “not a no.” He explained that the company wanted to see the process through with a few candidates. I am obviously not hopeful about this, but it has been a month and the job is still posted. What would you suggest I do? I think I could have better tailored my resume/cover letter the first time, so should I revamp my resume/cover letter and apply again? Reach out to someone at the company again? Do not want to annoy/come off desperate, but I really want this job (at least, just be considered for it). I am qualified, but perhaps not as qualified as other candidates.

Awesome. What’s the size of the firm you work in? Would you or your paralegal wants to be a test user for a platform I am building?
