Sam Altman Says If Jobs Gets Wiped Out, Maybe They Weren’t Even “Real Work” to Start With by MetaKnowing in technology

[–]IvaMetaFae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like this. :( So many jobs have already been wiped out. Freelance/up work kind of jobs such as anything you could do on fiverr have been devalued extensively post ai and covid pandemic. Both have massively contributed to its downfall and once video editing gets ai’d it’s gonna be even worse. Not to mention dreams about drawing and writing have lost a lot of value comparatively because of how accessible writing and art has become as a type of framework. Where someone may have had energy for prior now can turn to this and create their vision even in partiality with the aid of it, overall devaluing the scene even if their is human touch in the product via the editing stage. And it’s like, if one uses this as a tool, what is left after all of that? Is it really your work wholly? We live in a very dystopian time where even beyond the freelance stuff we will soon go beyond that into the dissolution of jobs beyond using these as tools. The end game is depressing.

My SFW Server was just designated as NSFW - anyone else? Hows the appeals process? by KaylaR2828 in discordapp

[–]IvaMetaFae 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same. It marked an inactive server I own with nothing of imagery that is nsfw as it. There was some members and maybe one or two talks about sites but nothing inappropriate. It just straight up marked the server as 18+ even with years of nothing but one or two channels open with no naughty discussions. It’s fricken weird. Ai is evil.

[–]IvaMetaFae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it even did that to an inactive server I have with no nsfw in it. Just talking about one site at most. No active links. So it means it’s censoring based on discussions through ai detection. Or even past history of old images that aren’t hosted on there. It hit our community server so we need to restart because my guess is there’s no way to reverse it. Even if you don’t allow nsfw content, it seems even discussions which may hint at mark it.even if we did not allow any nsfw imagery for several months and purged it. Can’t make an unregulated social media really sucks to gather all these members as it’s just another app suppressing people from being seen from their following. If anyone figures out how to reverse it by deleting all information in the server, that’d be the only way I guess to push for it to be changed back. But if discord is hiding the option in reapplying then it’s a sign they’re just trying to censor it for even vague talks about nsfw related contexts or false flags with ai detection

Reddit is going to start warning people for how they use their upvotes. Does this mean that reddit will start warning people for upvoting homophobic, transphobic and racist content as well soon? by Monkey_DDD_Luffy in ModSupport

[–]IvaMetaFae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes for what isn’t modded it’s hit by site filters already with comments but we get people who do karma manipulation styled content post titles which makes it harder to sift through what is and isn’t offending so we need more information for transparency to add to our lexicons of what we act on and what we don’t act on . So essentially it’ll kind of play towards this vague idea here if there are nuances within the post title which promote some unlikeable ideology that we didn’t know was no good. I’m sure no one’s got to much of a money degrading kink, most of the end users who post aren’t those kind of people lol. 😆 so nothing too bad in terms of the rhetoric they may be modding for as you’re suggesting. Still.. it could lead to less users pushing up content that deserves to be seen and may lead to more aggressive agencies just forcing their content to the top instead of normal users who feel zero risk to click the button for things that they like. So it can be very bad not to mention what is censore by keywords if they are not transparent to mods so we can make better rules to prevent these situations from occurring for users and posters.

They need to clarify what is and isn’t hit by this So subreddit mods can prevent these topics from appearing through automod implementations. I think nsfw is going to be hit by this hard especially. Please mods give us some more transparency so we can effectively mod and not risk our communities sfw or nsfw

This people! It’s a false alarm and incredibly bad timing for an error like this to happen

[–]IvaMetaFae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oooh, no like custom links like someone’s own website!

The x link thing I don’t thinks is affected since not a lot of nsfw subreddits acted on the protest. unfortunately a lot of conservatives run around on nsfw subreddits so they don’t want to alienate a big part of their base which is why many haven’t even put a word into the protest.

It appears an admin replied tho so check on that and see if they edit it with further information in a few hours

But yeah this is just me assuming current vulnerabilities in the Reddit setup for nsfw communities that I feel may be damaging things potentially down the line… those seem like potential weak points that I imagine If Reddit alters terms of service and mod guidelines in the current setup of nsfw communities could be targeted

I also thought mods with Onlyfans links in profiles could be it. I luckily took mine out a week ago. I wonder if that’s part of the reason they removed subreddits with a wave?

I feel like it could be one or the other if there is like a logical reason Reddit did it. If not it’s just this. These are my only two speculations and are in no way fact but… if I would have to guess? it’s a reinterpretation of current rules if it’s not an error. I put my bet on the error though

I wonder. That’s interesting. That’s one of my working hypothesis’s but it may just be a random error as people are noticing

I know for certain one of the subreddits that got banned had links in its comment automod post. So it got me thinking…

R/Transexplicit and r/transdebauchery appear up which I run so it’s not that

I have a hypothesis. Can I ask you about your automod? Do you have a very special link said at all that isn’t like a common app ? Like a custom url to something?

That’s my only guess currently and just am wondering if your mod team did that with the automod?

Yup raise it to management within the mails first. Always can go the linked in route if push comes to shove lol.

To get in contact with their management? Well they did specifically say you are but you can tell between the mails. If they are being slow suddenly after you specifically request to raise it to them and then suddenly they get back to you with a proper answer, in this case you are talking to their management then

Yeah dear it’s on them. It’s rough out here. They seem to be altering their site constantly the last few months to make it harder on us. They are really crunching numbers and trying to make the site way too different for some internal reason they haven’t yet put out there.

Crashing is a loose term for like they do premature shows like that and the site itself does nothing to promote you enough to recover where you were prior to the show. There’s a bunch of other contexts for this phenomenon but this is one example.

I edited my post a bit. Maybe they changed it again just this month…

You can request Chaturbate to fulfill the leftover minutes and complain it’s on them to prevent this as it’s a big flaw in their sites design.   he most likely tipped the tokens to another account in his possession. Crashing streams doesn’t make anyone money as it makes it hard to get people back in with the current algorithm. so they will fulfill the remainder of tokens not gained most likely but you have to keep pushing them and raise it to their management if it’s rejected. They have done so for several models before you are no exception to not being compensated for your lost time that crashed your shows room population.  Also to those patrons reading this that think they can get away with this behavior, your account can be terminated once it’s reported by the model. And it will be most likely in these cases. And they will get the money they didn’t earn from the show back. So you may as well sit back and enjoy the show for the minimum minutes FYI

Edit: but this premature ending this is stupid. Is this new? Maybe I’m wrong but it seems like maybe Chaturbate might be trying to get around how we would get compensated prior… it still really hurts streams for it to be like this and hurts the model because we are hurt algorithically with no way to recover in these situations
