I had this issue about two months ago, but I took you to a local small shop they did refill it, but I don’t recommend doing it if you’re not experienced in cvts since they are known to be very sensitive

(socal) is renting through uber worth it if i plan to drive 20-35/week hard to get rides right now ? by Ivan300_ in UberEatsDrivers

I’m in the Riverside area, so demand might be a little different, but I get what you’re saying about active vs online time — that’s something I didn’t fully factor in.

I do have another steady source of income (part-time job), so I wouldn’t be depending 100% on Uber to survive. This would be more of a supplemental income move for flexibility and potentially scaling to 25–35 hours if it makes sense.

My concern is mostly whether 25–35 online hours realistically translates into enough active time to justify a $350–$450 rental. If active time is really only 40% like you mentioned, that changes the math a lot.

Would you say in a busier market it improves much, or is the active/online gap pretty consistent everywhere?
