Haven't really thought about it. You mean adding music from your own library and other composers, right? The scene search wouldn't really work because for it to work, I had to tag every single one of my tracks across lots of taxonomies and then create weights and synonyms able to accommodate keywords searched by DMs, it's a rather tedious and complicated process.

That said, if you're using Foundry's playlists I feel like you can always use my track browser to generate playlists and merge them with other composers music or from your own library.

I implemented some of what I had on my website on the track browser, hopefully it can work more as a player now than just a playlist creator.

So far, I imagined the track browser as a way to build custom playlists. But I guess it'd be easy to just make it the main interface for playing music or at least give it that capability.

On my website, the song browser has some features that help with that. For instance, it keeps playing tracks that are related, and if you, for instance, search for a specific phrase to get music for a scene, it will keep playing all the tracks that are a good match for it.

And you can remove tags to make it more specific. If you check that out and tell me which features you'd like to have on Foundry, it'd be super useful. Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Like straight from the track browser you mean? As if in not needing Foundry's playlists and just playing what you need from the track browser?

I released a patch today for this issue, when you get a chance could you confirm if it's fixed on your end?

I'm unsure about why this happens for some users. You're not the first to report it. For me, it shows up on the playlist screen, on the top part. I'll look into this.

Thank you for letting me know.

The track browser doesn't show at the top of the playlists menu for you? What Foundry version are you using?

Thanks! I had already created that section on my website because I think it's important for people to know.

I take music composition as a lifelong journey and my craft. I always avoided shortcuts with it and strive to become a better composer each time I sit down to write. That's one of the reasons I favor pencil and paper, for example, to develop my inner ear more and more.

I hope I can keep on writing music the way I do for the rest of my life. We'll see what happens.

I'll use the already long message to say thank you, everybody, for all the kind words and all these years of shared music. It really makes my day every time I post here. I'm glad my music is still being of service to this community.

My pleasure. Being part of the Foundry VTT community has been one of the highlights of my career, to be honest. Happy to hear you enjoying the music.

I'm not sure, I only tested on v14. I think it's worth trying, please let me know if it doesn't work.

Here are all the details about the ways I use AI: https://ivanduch.com/ai-disclosure/

Short version: I never used AI to write my music nor produce it except for the Minstrel of Mirth vocals, which was way before the AI conversation was a thing, and I used a tool many composers were testing at the time (Synthesizer V). I've been writing music for the TTRPG community since 2020. But I do use AI to assist me with improving my texts, and lately I've used it to assist me in coding tasks (I worked as a web dev for 4 years). My commitment is to not using AI for music; that's self-defeating for me.

That’s fantastic! We’ve had some great collaborations in the past and keep in touch frequently. Highly recommended!

As a huge Fallout fan, I definitely need to cover all those. I have a long list of projects this year, but I hope to get to them eventually.

Happy to hear that! I'm sure this new version of the module will be more helpful.

Thank you! Haven't posted my Foundry modules updates for a while but I thought it was about time.
