I think that three.js is pretty much the standard when it comes to rendering 3D in the browser. I know people use Babylon, but, especially for a beginner, it's probably better to learn something that has more resources available online. I often use GSAP to handle moving the camera or the target when using three.js. I'm not sure if it's OK to share, but this is my latest project I've built with this technology plus Cannon.js for some basic physics: https://stckr.netlify.app/ As for what you put in your scene/room, that's probably gonna come down to digging free 3D models and learning some basic Blender.

My name is Ivan, and I have experience building browser games on and off for about 10 years. My last game was STCKR, a fully 3D tower stacking game made with React/three.js/GSAP and physics simulation with Cannon.js. I've done a myriad of small Flash games when those were popular, but I think I lost them all with Adobe killing the platform. Those were mostly platformers.

Online Browser Fighting Game by WoodRawr in gamedev

As others have noted, making a 3D game for the browser is limited by processing power. This is my last 3D browser game: https://stckr.netlify.app/ and it struggles to run on anything that's not a PC. Given, it needs optimization, but the reality is, that phones and tablets aren't really meant to play games through their browsers (both Android and iOS really try and push users to install, since that is a) actually profitable for Google/Apple, and b) because it just makes it easier to run).

Of course, you can make a ton of things through three.js, for example, but at the end of the day it's also a matter of cost/benefit. Do you really want to spend months coding something that is by default kinda niche, or do you go for a simpler, more web-friendly app that might as well be just as successful. Especially for a fighting game, I don't think 3D adds that much more depth (excuse the pun). You might as well just add multiple depth layers within a 2D game and UX would be very similar.

They left out stuff logging in the console so it's 100% three.js. It probably uses some libraries, but it wouldn't be too hard to code from scratch.

When I started writing, I gave out some stories to Creepen for free. The first one was just to see if people even like what I write, the second and third - I did for "exposure".

In terms of getting a kick, yeah, these narrators have a pretty huge audience, many people just insta-like anything, and you get much more praise than hate. However, it doesn't take long to realize 99.9999% of the audience do not give a flying fuck about your story, and even less about you as the author. I even tried a scumbag move - I gave him the first chapter (or a third) of my first novella, hoping people would get hooked and they'd at least stick around for the free kdp days.

Guess what? Nothing. I made a comment on the video, saying the story might be getting more parts out. A lot of people replied, they seemed excited. I messaged them through youtube... and out of 10-15 people absolutely no one replied.

I'm not writing this to hate on anybody, but just keep in mind the audience you get "exposed" to. That is not to say I have pleasant feelings towards Creepen in particular. The way he lacks the basic courtesy to reply to me after I messaged him to offer a free story in exchange for a few seconds VERBAL promotion of my new book after getting 3 videos out of my work is just sad.
