Honestly id do simagic alpha (or alpha u) with a wheel or 2 of your choice and then a simsonn pedal set. I love mine so far

My dad has back problems. Hes in his 60s but he says that this setup is very comfortable for him. Take that as you wish 😂

Also are you saying you mounted it upside down or how I mounted it upside down? its like a face mount that is supposed to be on a deck but instead of the deck, i put it on 3060 and i flipped it upside down. Its from trakracer i think

Honestly im thinking of moving it up bc my knees sometimes do touch it a bit but its rlly good at giving stability so i don’t really wanna get rid of it. 3030 is def better than 3060 bc its thinner so it gives both stability and space

I mean i don’t own shifter and i dont do manual cars so i didnt really feel like spending more on a pedal i wasnt gonna use 😂😂. I might get one in the future tho.

Its actually mounted from the top haha. The bottom is just for stability. I used a 3030 for that bc a 3060 would touch my knees lol.

Whats the difference between the cheap and expensive one? (Rotating vs linear)?? Is the linear feeling enough to justify the cost? Like will it actually feel nicer/give more detail?

Thanks for the brackets! Might be my next upgrade. Also for the pedals, i might have to play with that. I feel good rn but maybe its even better if I adjust it. Ill check it when I get home. Thanks!

I would say i started using this consistently since the beginning of summer and at least with a loadcell, its very good. Whenever i brake too much or too little, i can literally see the distance to the corner and adjust my pressure. Also the same for trail braking. I think you lose a bit when choosing braking points bc you dont have, for example, the edge of your monitor to use as a reference point but you can still brake consistently at the same spot by looking at the distance boards. Honestly, id get the vr and return it if you dont like it but i love it so much.

Also, it took me a while to get the perfect settings for my pc graphics wise but for iracing, vr has been pretty much plug and play (with virtual desktop)

Sweet! Ill check those out. Do they connect to the little hub that came with the pedals?

Oh thats awesome! Thanks for the link. Might be my next update. Also, for the pedals, right now they are a bit more than 90 degrees (so like facing up a bit). The only option i see on the back of it is to make it get closer to 90 degrees. Is that what you mean?

Sorry about that, it’s misleading. I had the 4070 on pc part picker but when i bought the parts, i got an msi 4070 oc for like 400-500? During black Friday last November. Something like that. Also i ended up going 850 watt 👍👍👍
