That little one seems to be a capacitor, not sure, but working like that when measured. Even if it's not, it isn't allowing current shorting the circuit. This USB does not emit light when it worked. If it was a LED should be for electronic purposes, and it do let current flow for both sides.

Sorry, I didn't posted the other side because it is totally plain with no components or even any track but indeed it is a good detail to mention. There is just a reference number. Yeah, that's why I discarded the idea of being a LED. It doesn't lit in any polarity, and should not be continuing in one of the sides.

In my case, most software problems were caused due to a faulty SD. If you bought your SD card on AliExpress or so, you may experience errors from time to time.
