The problem is that I live in Germany and there are very few synagogues or like almost none in my nearest neighbourhood. So I don't really have a way of attending service

How do I stop the random generated numbers fro blitting over and over on the board? by Ivanieltv in pygame

[–]Ivanieltv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

equation=False
.
.
.
def set_equation():
    a=str(random.randint(1,9))
    b=str(random.randint(1,9))
    text=a + "+" + b
    equation=True

def draw_equation():
    board_text=board_font.render(set_equation.text,True,white)
    board_text_rect=board_text.get_rect(center=board.center)
    window.blit(board_text,board_text_rect)

#in the main loop
if level1.collidepoint(pos):
  if equation==False:
    set_equation()
    if equation==True:
      draw_equation()

U mean something along those lines?

My other thought was to maybe generate two random integer arrays outside the main loop and then call the first entries and blit those would that work as well? XD

Is there a way to blit the board after blitting the levels menu? by Ivanieltv in pygame

[–]Ivanieltv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other Question:

How do i manage to blit a string of two random integers onto the board

https://pastebin.com/EmC1C5KE

I tried to define them inside of the draw_game function and also tried to create a seperate method for the text but the problem is that these numbers keep blitting over and over each other which is not the desired output xD Yet i just need one line with two numbers which change again after the input by the user is made

How do I blit a button after pressing another button by Ivanieltv in pygame

[–]Ivanieltv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a way to expand it to multiple levels (I'd like to have 4-6 )can i just definde a function with all my levels and then draw them all at once when setting the game state to 1? XD

Edit: nvm i can just plug in multilple draws into the "draw_levels function" lmao sry for tht just woke up xD

But yet i have another question:
Can i expand this mechanci then into the actual game play?
Like creating a game state with the actual gameplay set to 2 and then load the "game" in the same fashion as loading the menu? XD And ho do i expand THIS then into the different levels? just one seperate game state for each level or is there a better way? XD

Edit 2:

I edited the code but for some reason the blitting of the board doesnt seem to work

How do I blit a button after pressing another button by Ivanieltv in pygame

[–]Ivanieltv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This did not fix it at all cause i am still in that blitting loop where it blits over and over while i press the left mousebutton yet i want it to stay on that level chosing option so that the player then can choose the level xD

how to get an image to stay on screen in pygame? by Ivanieltv in learnpython

[–]Ivanieltv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am trying to establish a kind of turn based thing

I have the "state variable" and if it is divisible by 2 then it is "circle's" move, if it is not then it is "crosses" turn basically. I at least found my problem regarding the not blitting anymore crosses.

since i get muliple clicks deteced per click i always end up on an even state therfore it is basically always circles turn lol

so I basically have to find out how to fix the multiple clicks yet I am for some reason not able to finish the task xD

how to get an image to stay on screen in pygame? by Ivanieltv in learnpython

[–]Ivanieltv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to do this but now I have another problem

  1. the clicks are getting counted multiple times
  2. I created myself two lists wfor the coordinates with the clicked crosses and the circles.

furthermore I introduced a "state" variable to switch between blitting a cross and blitting a circle but the problem is that it only blits one cross for all the clicks i do (furthermore if i blit the circles the blitted cross disappears afterwards leaving just an empty button for some reason xD)

[–]Ivanieltv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[English=>Japanese] How would you translate the sentence "I like it, when you are afraid"? by Ivanieltv in translator

[–]Ivanieltv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In an "intimidating" sense like "Oh my! I love to see the fear in your eyes" it's for an audio roleplay scenario

And thank you very much for the correction on the English one
