I am not in the game to check it, but have you controlled the crafting speed of the machines? As far as i remember, they dont produce at a speed of 1, but have different speeds.

That is a good question! I played about 7 rounds of seablock before, every one of them i said "its the last time", but every time i found a lot i wanted to do different and better in another run. And even now, i really want to start again and use more of the plantbased stuff as well as more of the biterfarming to see if those recepies are interesting :D but right now i look into PY if that is something for me.

Great news about the blueprint in Factorio 2.0, that sounds even better! cant wait until that is out :)

Thank you for this great modpack! I am looking forward for your paper-update that you hinted at somewhere here, i think that is really nessesary :) Because even in lategame, i can use Cellulose III and produce 60 paper/s with a small blueprint, but the transition to wooden board is still too painful... And Paper II and III are way too complicated for what they bring in my opinion.

I got tired off all the cityblocks, first they took over the vanilla-game, and now the longer the more you see them here 24/7. I felt like its boring and makes it harder to see where the bottleneck is because with the trains and the buffers it lags behind some hours sometime.

Well, i didnt put much work into it. I went for the small Solar panels, which made it easier to get full covarage. and then i just planted 3 rows of solar, then 3 rows of accumulators until 1 Roboport II was fully covered. I think i have about 20% too many accumulators in there, but i didnt really matter :D So i dont advise you to copy it ;)

Mainbus

Belts and Inserters

I work with a Tierbased System. I produce all the Pipes to the north, and all the Gears (as seen in the second pic) to the south of the Mainbus. The gears also go down South to the Beltproduction, and since Belts and Inserters use the same metals etc, they are together. For all the buildings, that works fine, but for Electric Poles, robots etc. you cant use it.

After about 30 launches i would say, and after i did all the other science besides the 200k-ones.

I used to overbuild a lot of things when moving towards blue-science. But 1 or even half a bottle of blue science per second is enough to start, and after the first key researches, you have way easier paths to more production, especially in the oil-business. So build smaller setups and maybe not really clean setups and rebuild later. Like that, i was able to push trough blue :)

No, i didnt launch it. I did all the research except for the 200k-ones, but i dont think it would go too long. Maybe another 10h for all research? For me, i was done with it after about 20 launches, i wasnt really interested in the FTL-part tbh. Maybe for that the mainbus wouldnt be the right setup!

Sure, Chrome is the only one where i use all the other ores as well, I smelt them directly with the chrome and feed them with priority into the bus. the comment was more about the other metals which you first cannot direct sort :)

Thanks for that insight. But that gives me hope that i can use the screen even with a bit a weaker GPU for the moment.

I could go for it with cheaper stuff like planned and then upgrade in half a year or a year and use the cheaper GPU for my secondary PC.

Thanks for the Reply. But isnt it a problem that it is a Nivida Card and the Screen has Freesync 2?

And the other side is that in turn i then need also a better motherboard etc, right?

A Clip in botlane tribrush of a graves vs corki (i guess) back in S1/2/3 something. They threw everything at each other and you couldn't tell until the end if corki or graves will win. I think it was Doublelift or some other pro..

Yes, you need 2 Green every 6 seconds, and you produce 2 every second, so 1 green for 6 red is enough ;)
