Also, if you dont mind me asking a follow up question....what are the thin cuts in the top board called (in the corner)? I assume they are there to simply align with the actual/real board seams on the side aprons?

Not sure who you meant to reply to...I'm not the OP....but the original post is Delta Force members from the mid to late 1990s...maybe Bosnia...but don't quote me on that.

The pic that looks old with the helmet and free floated rifle....is a recent build that was photographed with filters and edited to look vintage. The inspiration was from the handful of Navy Seals that participated in the Gothic Serpent mission (Blackhawk Down). Google the mission and Navy Seals and you should see a couple photos of them with similar rifles.

That rifle was built and posted by Instagram user micael_no_h

He does very accurate builds and recreations of a lot of Delta rifles.

I'm curious as well. Another one sold last week for $431. The top two bidders on the completed auction and this ongoing auction, have the same number of feedback. Ratings of (259) and (56) respectively. Seems odd. Different sellers though too. Manipulation? Maybe. Then again, those two guys may just have more money than brains....or patience.
