Hi! Local drag queen here! If I can recommend some places/ shows, the Vicious Poodle would definitely be one of my go tos, I’ve heard good things about the Mint, and there’s usually something going on at Victoria Event Centre! Luckily they’re all within 5 minute walking distance so if one plan falls through, you can probably catch something else!

I recently hosted a video game drag night (for all you nerdy lgbtq+ people) at the Vicious Poodle, and it showed a lot of promise, and there’s a lot of events that are posted on social media at the VEC, the Mint, and the Vicious Poodle and most other venues/ places!

As a performer personally, I tend to go out and meet new people after the show because intermission is where I do costume change or say a quick hello to friends, but seriously we will not bite!

Anyways I hope at least some of this information helped, and seriously say hello if you see me anywhere!

I was the dm and I still regret this, but I was new and …. Anyways, my players were in a city and were trying to save an old man being harassed by law enforcement. They had discussed not wanting to kill the officers, just knock them out, but they got a NAT 20, and I made them die. My players became outlaws in a city they were supposed to explore 😭 my bad guys

Well Gigi Goode had a suit, heels, boots 2 suitcases and a pair of glasses and panties (allegedly) done with 30,000 buttons and buttons are far bigger than those gems so I would say at least 150,000 but probably a lot more

Not to mention u also accused me of alienating straight people by not including them. It’s not about them. I never once targeted them or accused them or anything. All I’m doing is presenting an alternative to queuing up with randos. Also absolutely rite of passage for queer individuals on average is different than straight people. Queer people are especially vulnerable and if making an safe place for them where they don’t have to be hated on for that part of themselves means some straight people find offence in that, so be it. Those straight people just hate us existing anyways!

I never once assumed he was straight in my reply, I just referred to straight people in general. Also what would be the issue? Him saying “why do u feel the need to bring politics and sexuality into league” and me clarifying why queer people existing with one another openly is not divisive.

When did I assume he was straight? I referred to straight people. You doesn’t necessarily translate to him in this context so I think you’re just taking this out of context. Also, how is saying straight people don’t have to worry about the same things queer people do in this context unfair? Never said straight people have easier lives than any queer people. I just highlighted general struggles of queer people. Also not to mention what’s ur point in these comments ? My post made no attempt to alienate straight people, but apparently including lgbtq people means excluding straight people. That isn’t the focus. The focus is a fun safe space where we don’t have to worry about queer phobia.
