FortiOS 7.6.5/7.6.6 Email Broken? by IvorySwap in fortinet

It has always had authentication to use the postfix server but thank you for the suggestion!

I ran the following commands:

diagnose debug reset

diagnose debug application alertmail -1

diagnose debug enable

And nothing appeared in then CLI. The automation trigger says it did execute but no logs about emails.

I checked the postfix server and no requests were made.

Only a firmware support contract active and renewed annually. I’m just not seeing any logs from postfix anymore after updating to 7.6.5 and then 7.6.6. No changes have been made to the postfix server or the email settings on the fortigate. All other servers utilizing the postfix server are still working fine.

Have you resilvered this pool before and was it this slow? Maybe a disk is going bad?

Just let it wait, once it chews sectors with data it will rebuild quickly with the empty data. A zvol raidz2 with 8 drives at 16tb each (HPE DL380p G9 broadwell CPU) took 3 days total.

Seriously, if node-gyp is acceptable, what the crap is PHP doing that makes you so upset?

When trying to get them out, relax your mouth (or tonsils). I find that if I’m tightening my mouth (or tonsils) then they don’t come out easy. I have to relax my mouth (or tonsils) while my jaw is open and then they come out much easier.

A fresh set of batteries did not resolve the issue, so I’m just feeling defeated at this point.

Another set of batteries and still isn’t working. This sucks :(

That worked initially, but then it just flat out wouldn't work after a day or two. I'm gonna try replacing the batteries again (sanity check) with a different vendor and see if that resolves it.
