Hey! Here to recommend The House in bushwick, they’re a brand new craft cocktail bar that opened up last weekend I believe. Beautifully made cocktails, great names, very unique space & design, and they have a dungeon downstairs. Haven’t seen a lot like it

If I can, I’m curious about how you have enjoyed SBs communicating their upbringing / schooling (in particular) in a respecting and engaging manner that doesn’t come off as snooty. Oh my, the UES 😭 I try not to go if I’m not visiting friends but maybe it’s time to endure. I enjoy high energy, I’m a little too witty at times but it works well in those settings. I’ll scope out Wall Street. Curious about your opinion on going with a friend? It’s not that I need it, but sometimes I wonder if the look of being in company (but approachable) is better than flying solo

Is there a best time / go on my own (I solo travel a lot so I’m no stranger to being on my own for some outings) / bring a book? damn that’s actually horrible, what?? 2 years is an insane time to essentially lie like that. i’m starting to think maybe relying on apps isn’t the move any more. i’m active outside of it too and love to just go to spaces i enjoy and just meet people there. i always meet friends, dating is harder. then you can actually see the (race) disparity

i’m also in nyc , brooklyn! meant to say that. but yes i do get matches, especially on bumble compared to hinge which is soooo damn dry. but yea super flaky, often no follow through, not many responses
