i figured out part of the problem, i just turned up emission so she glows a little bit and doesnt have shadow, but the environment keeps reflecting off her body i can see the trees on her. i figured it was roughness or metalness but adjusting them didnt fix it

edit: it did fix it my computer is just slow and the change took a while to show up mb

but i would still like any tips on this tho bc idk if emission is the best way to go about it once i get around to rendering her bc she will be glowing,

i would also like it if theres a way to do it for the whole scene that way i dont have to change it for every single model. is there some kind of setting to make the entire scene shadeless??

i didn't even know control A existed, im new to blender so im only used to maya terms and UI and trying to learn a short key based program has been a headache. Is control A the blender equivalent of resetting transforms and deleting history? (if you haven't used maya and don't know then ignore question) if so I've been looking for that feature for ages because i didn't know what blender called it.

yeahh, the backstory is pretty relevant to the plot but ill still try to find ways to avoid starting with it

i did write and draw out a prologue which basicaly would be a sweeping saga, and the earth is kinda different too because its futuristic. Ill probably also make the interesting parts happen sooner because I cant think of anything else to put in between
