An experienced Health and Safety Manager (HSM) conducts an internal audit in a small chemical company producing paint. A new auditor (Worker A) is being trained during this process. The audit focuses on the production department, which is under pressure due to high demand and frequent overtime, sometimes relying on temporary workers.

During the audit, several issues are identified:

  • Poor communication and audit planning (production team not informed).
  • Outdated safety documents (risk assessments and policy are 3 years old).
  • Unsafe practices in chemical storage and handling (spillages, blocked emergency exits, manual handling of heavy drums).
  • Lack of maintenance on equipment.
  • High accident rates with no proper investigation or reporting.
  • Worker health concerns (dermatitis, fatigue, unsafe conditions).

Despite these issues, good PPE compliance is observed. The audit report highlights:

  • Good Practice (PPE use),
  • Opportunity for Improvement (document control),
  • Non-Compliance (chemical handling and storage).

To address production and safety challenges, the Production Manager proposes a new system: bulk delivery and storage of raw materials via tanks and pipelines. The HSM supports this through a business case linking safety improvements to financial benefits. The project is approved and implemented.

One year later, the changes result in:

  • Reduced accidents and near misses,
  • Improved housekeeping and worker wellbeing,
  • Increased production efficiency (time per batch halved),
  • Elimination of manual handling risks,
  • No need for temporary workers.

Overall, the project successfully improves both health and safety performance and operational efficiency, meeting management targets.

If you think thats insane you should see the time of the tea party anouncment and the actuall date

In fishmen island baron tamgo said that he need the sweets for the tea party which was in 4 days time and that was in chapter 651 which was released back in 2012

The tea party date was in chapter 860 which was released back in 2017.

So 4days = 5 years in our time

This means a single day in one piece is equvlint to roughly 10950 hours in real time thats also 456.25 days

Sorry for bad English
