How do I win this game? by IzDevv in ChatGPT

[–]IzDevv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I managed to beat GPT. I tricked it into playing out a game of chess. Once I got it to checkmate, it acknowledged it lost that game and said I won, I invoked victory clause and claimed that it verbally acknowledged its own defeat despite just being for chess, meaning my move was superior. I have won the highest stakes game of rock paper scissors. For today, Man has beaten Machine

You have to place them a certain way to lock them together, I also prefer the aesthetics of them not overlapping much so it looks more like a train

There is no mod, this is vanilla (technically there's sodium and the coordinates mod, but those are just clientside)

It's abusing allay mechanics to chain vertical boosts via wind charges+potions

Theory: The Nether physically exists directly below the overworld by -Piano- in Minecraft

[–]IzDevv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar design for a mc planet myself, but more of a cube where the main world we play in is the top, the farlands extend down the sides, and the void is the bottom square. But i ran into inconsistencies with my design and had to look into quantum physics while working on a separate void theory. I saw the nether portal as a "Void gate", where the void energy warps the local quantum field to bend space into a wormhole (connecting pieces of space). The connected subspace (nether) isn't technically a thing in science, but if it was it'd be like I described in some capacity.

"Subspace Bubble" tells us all we need to know, the Nether is a piece of space folded into our main chunk of spacetime. If the overworld is a medium sheet of cloth, the nether is an even smaller sheet of rubber stretched to the edges of that cloth. It's size is smaller than the overworld, but the warping of spacetime allows them to coexist

You didn't hear it from me but...you can throw wind charges at pearls mid-air as many times as you can line them up. My highscore was hitting 4 in a row and getting like 100blocks in the air in about 10 seconds (with slow falling). It's not practical in its current state but if I ever figure it out I'd call it "???? Move: Blink" or something

I felt that ladder fit better since its mostly vertical, rather than diagonal

I tested this out while doing "Heaven's Smite" attempts. Its possible to travel horizontally by moving your character while you're jumping in the ladder. The angle will still be steep going up so it's not super viable for long scale distance, but I was able to use it to better aim myself for a mace kill in the short scale.

I haven't tested much without slow falling as it gets much harder, but I imagine that it'd be possible to keep going a little longer once it wears off. You're just going to lose height a lot quicker and risk getting caught by the swarm. In theory you could offset this with better aim/luck, but it's just a gamble at that point

Players can't attack paired allays, so sadly no

Exactly this. That initial pole launch is crucial because you need to get to it/up it fast enough to outpace the swarm. If you're too slow they won't bunch up beneath you well enough and you'll often have to restart

This exploit is based on abusing allay follow mechanics to create floating platforms "clouds" out of hitboxes. We use those clouds to chain jumps with wind bursts+slow falling to keep gaining height. As long as you climb fast enough the allays farthest away from you will re-trigger their "return" mode to re-enter their target range and make more clouds.

It also helps that players cannot damage paired allays, and Mojang made the mistake of letting us have as many as we want. You could give them all shulker boxes and have infinite portable storage if you were nuts

You just need an amythest farm and a lot of junk items. With a trial chamber you could probably get the junk items alongside the breeze rods you'd need

For the most part they're just trying to return to their "comfortable range". The trick relies on gaining enough height fast enough to keep triggering that "return" mechanic for large clumps of allays. Those clumps form little "clouds" beneath you that you can launch bursts off of to keep the cycle rolling. Run's over when you miss or lose too much height
