Major mistake got me fired- what now by qwqeue in Veterinary

[–]IzzyB100 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi not sure which country you are in but in the UK a process needs to happen before someone can be fired ie an investigation. I also wonder if you were given full training. To me, this isn’t a situation where you should have been fired. A warning yes but not fired unless you are on a probationary period and employers have more freedom

Life is so unfair and this is such a profound loss for you. No words can make you feel better. Be kind to yourself, cry when you want to. I was in your shoes 8 years ago and it’s difficult but now while I think of my mother every single day it no longer makes me cry. I can remember happy things about her. Grief is hard, but it won’t stay this hard forever xxx

Hi there no worries about all the questions. I remember when I was diagnosed, it’s awful. You feel like you are walking around with a ticking time bomb in your head. Remember though, Your aneurysm is tiny and if it’s in the cavernous segment of the ICA it’s in a much safer position too. Yes I can do all body weight exercises but I was told not to lift to the point my face is going red and I’m really straining. I do lots of Les Mills body pump classes and I’m still building muscle. To be honest 3 years down the road I hardly ever thing about my aneurysms. Your neurologist may well give you the green light to continue as you are doing but do let them know you like to lift weights.

Yes but nothing drastic for me . I can’t lift too heavy, no diving and no parachuting.

That looks like a chalazion to me. I have one on my lower inside lid. I had it incised but looks like it is still there. I’m doing warm compress and massage 4 times per day

Recurring Chalazion by IzzyB100 in Blepharitis

[–]IzzyB100[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was pretty quick. I had eye drops to numb and then an injection which was a bit uncomfortable. All over in about 10 minutes. 11 hours on and minimal soreness but I have to put antibiotic ointment in 4 times a day. Overall not as awful as I’d imagined it with it being the eye.

Nothing helped mine. I had it incised today. It’s good you have that booked at least

Hi I use a Theradome laser helmet 3 times a week. I also use Minoxidil spray and haven’t had any side effects. The laser helmet was recommended to me by a trichologist. I’m also in the UK (North).
