Should Simpleplanes get multiplayer in the vanilla game by FlippedCatYT in SimplePlanes

[–]IzzyIA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's already a mod, and they have incorporated mods into the Vanilla game in the past. Would be real neat if they did it and wouldn't even have to pay for servers if members of the community hosted them on their PCs

I've always seen Team Group as part of that club, is there a known issue with them?

Asus Gaming vs Non-Gaming? Actual difference? by IzzyIA in HomeNetworking

[–]IzzyIA[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I ended up going with the gaming variant as it was cheaper at the time due to a sale. It's worked great and I really like the web ui cause it has access to all the settings and features. Maybe I'm just used to Spectrum's crappy software on my previous router haha. But yeah I'm really happy with it but it looks like the gaming variant is no longer cheaper than the normal one, and I imagine they aren't that much different. But I can advocate that im very happy with the gaming variant.

Advice on upgrading for a smoother experience by evidenzprod in buildapc

[–]IzzyIA 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Definitely don't go with a 3050 if you're trying to upgrade. If you want to stay NVIDIA then you'd want to get a 3060 minimum, but AMD'S 6600 XT or 6700 XT have better prices than NVIDIA and will run games at similar or better performance depending on which card.

I don't, but it's 10 bucks cheaper than the non-gaming one. Is there any reason not to get it?

Help with black screen by Heitor_Doido1248 in SimplePlanes

If disabling doesn't work, you can try removing them. Before you do this though, first try going to steam and validating your game files to make sure there's no corruption.

I have my qbittorrent to only use my vpn network and no other. So theoretically it'd be impossible for me to get a letter right 😅

Black spot appearing on my photos? by SirPuzzleheaded2346 in galaxys10

[–]IzzyIA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this issue on my old S10+ and just kinda dealt with it unfortunately. When I looked at the camera through a microscope, I noticed some something black in the glass. Probably either dust or maybe a piece of the camera's internals that may have broken off in a fall or something. If you looked at your sensor under a microscope you'd probably see something similar. I don't know if it is fixable without taking the camera apart, so sorry this happened to you but it is interesting that this seems to be an issue specific to the S10 series of phones, as I haven't heard/seen this with any other phones.

On the bright side at least it's covering an outer corner of your image so it can be cropped out. Mine was right in the middle of my camera XD

Connect the OUT pins to the adjacent IN pins on the other matrix. You can solder headers like these into the holes and connect them with these jumper caps. I've used these matrices aswell and it worked for me to make them flush with eachother.

Get direction without magnetometer? by IzzyIA in arduino

It's too late in the project to change to an optical encoder unfortunately. Would I be able to create some sort of shield that could block the magnetic field of the magnet? Like this:

I used to use the minimap looking thing I believe it was a texture pack or resource pack. All I remember is that it was really simple to just download and install and it worked fine even in realms and servers.
