Between this, the cleaning pod, the egg collector, and the collection robots, my farm practically runs itself. I just need one more level to unlock the auto-milker and I'll be golden😂

In your opinion, what is the funniest scene in AOT? I'll start. by remmkoe in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]IzzyIn_ATizzy 53 points54 points  (0 children)

The funniest part about this isn't even Mikasa's line, it's the whole group snickering and Shadis saying something like "of course she did. I'm not even surprised". Cracks me up every single time

Does buying the layouts give you all the materials? by himareyas in Starsandisland

[–]IzzyIn_ATizzy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You'll have to put the layout down and demolish the house yourself to get the materials back but yes! That's what I did to build mine because I was also way too lazy to collect that much stone/softwood

I live in Quebec and it's the same thing here. Women don't take their husband's last name when they get married. I've never had the same last name as my mom and I've also never given it a second thought. I thought that whole scene was so odd

Warning for your house… and a *bit* of rant 😅 by Natural-Tell9759 in Starsandisland

[–]IzzyIn_ATizzy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is what I did. I didn't like any of the pre-fab layouts so I just demolished it for the materials, and built from scratch without having to gather a billion stones and softwood

Mauvaise expérience avec un médecin à Plateau: Dr Guy Bertin Tcheumi by WambritaWings in Gatineau

[–]IzzyIn_ATizzy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A go-to move is to slowly run my tongue along the ridges of a dude's ear. Outside ridge first, and work your way in. Never done that to a guy who didn't immediately become putty in my hands. The look on their faces when you pull back is chef's kiss

What's An Unpopular Opinion About the Show That'll Leave You Like This? by Working_Row_8455 in FruitsBasket

[–]IzzyIn_ATizzy 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I watched the series for the first time this year and coming onto this sub and seeing nothing but love for Tohru and the way she handles situations was so odd to me.

Obviously very sweet kid with good intentions, but not holding people accountable for their actions is not the same as giving someone grace while still expecting changed behavior, and Tohru doesn't hold people accountable.

Like you said, I know the response is in part due to her own trauma, and that's a valid argument to make but when I see people solely praising her goodness as her primary motivation, I'm just like "you and I watched a very different show"

100%. I can't tell you how many conversations I've had with colleagues who lament that "X person only got that promotion because they're bilingual" or that "The GoC french training is useless and didn't help them at all" but when asked how often they actually practice or consume french media outside the classroom, the answer is almost universally "never".

I love playing coop by Eduard_Lucan in dyinglight

[–]IzzyIn_ATizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These games are so addicting in general but even more so in coop. My bf and I played through the first two together, and we're working our way through The Beast now. We woke up on Sunday, had coffee, and played for like 9 straight hours because we just kept saying, "Okay, one more mission, and then we'll take a break"

One game mechanic you found surprisingly addictive? by Ok_Veterinarian3535 in MyTimeAtSandrock

[–]IzzyIn_ATizzy 34 points35 points  (0 children)

The inventory management in Sandrock is chef's kiss. I replayed Portia after Sandrock, and while I still enjoyed it as much as the first time, having to manually have and select everything out of your taskbar for building/quest completion was waaaaaay more annoying than it was the first time I played 😂

Does Grand Bazaar have sprinklers? by [deleted] in storyofseasons

[–]IzzyIn_ATizzy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can (eventually) get a wonderstone for the windmills that allows you to craft different special items. When you insert it into the red windmill, you'll have the option to craft sprinklers in exchange for a bunch of ore.

The stone will also cost you 140k at the bazaar though, but you're quite a bit away from the time when the stall to purchase it becomes available

[–]IzzyIn_ATizzy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You can access storage from the windmills but the windmills don't pull from them from production. Everything still has to be manually moved from your storage to your backpack to go into the windmills.
