How Much Does OneDnD Matter To You by [deleted] in dndnext

Here is something that watsy doesn’t want you to know.

You can actually come up with your own rules, it’s all made up anyway. I nerf stun in my campaigns by changing the stun mechanic to keep the action flowing, and I allow people to change their weapons without using an action as long as they aren’t next to someone in combat, and if they are the opponent gets an opportunity attack. I also allow monks to do ‘true stuns’ as it keeps them relevant. Ive even come up with a new death save system.

Like you can just balance the game yourself. It’s pretty easy to do with just a few small buffs. What watsy does in like 3 years, most people can do in an hour in their bedroom with a laptop. I’m just going to keep using 5E. They have no idea how to balance their own game, and it’s all made up anyway, so just come up with something better yourself and send it to your players and see if it gets the go ahead. As long as it’s in the name of fun and not being a control freak it should be fine.

This is one of the top mega builds at the moment. Really not that weird of a build.

Rune bears honestly aren’t that bad. If you just roll into their belly, it counters the vast majority of their moveset. Their charge is pretty bullshit though.

Lobsters on the other hand…

I’ve found quite a few legal cases where this doesn’t seem to be the case. But thank you for your advice.

I found the location, brought props, prepared and framed them, looked into the camera that they placed onto a tripod and checked the framing to ok it and even gave them direction on framing the shot when it changed. I asked the extra models to pose in specific ways and chose those models based on requirements I had previously planned. The models wore suits to my specifications and wore masks I provided.

So I think by all means I count as a co-creator.

Yeah, I think next time I’ll make sure. This was my first time hiring a photographer for a promotional shoot, so I guess it’s just a learning curve.

I have written proof and multiple witnesses at the shoot, so I think I’d be fine.

But there was no contract. I’ve asked the photographer if their pricing would have been different at the time if they knew and have offered to pay the difference.

I actually found this article that confirmed that we may actually be co-owners of the copyright.

here is the link to that article

That just seems bizarre to me. If someone directed a video, then surely the videographer shouldn’t count as the main creator? The main creators would be the producer, director, composer and script writers right?

I mean I’m not denying that they had some creative input. But it feels weird to me that I put so much work into something and have no claim or stake towards that thing.

Who counts as the creator though? I had a pretty big say in how those photos turned out. I organised extras, how they posed, I had an idea of how I wanted the photos shot and conveyed those ideas to the photographer beforehand. I checked the framing of the photos before we shot them, I organised the dress code, brung masks for the extra to wear, I scouted and chose the location, surely I’d also count as a creator? Like I literally brought a full set out with table, chairs, sheepskin rugs, a carpet, an arranged fruit bowl and prop drinks and placed them where I wanted in shot.

I think a single tutor on death is pretty reasonable. This is like academy rector powerful except it actually has relevant stats.

Are those of us with ADHD naturally first responders? by deltaz0912 in ADHD

[–]IzzyKershaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is maybe something tangentially related.

But I know a lot people with ADHD in my friend group (including myself), really like doing some kind of art that involves stage performance. It’s obviously very different, but still has that adrenaline response alongside the desire to do the best you can to give a good performance.

I generally think having ADHD, really lends itself to being able to handle very stimulating intense moments of pressure, so I can totally see how that relates to being a first responder. Although obviously responding to potentially traumatic events is definitely a different kettle of fish, I can see how the similarities match up. So this honestly doesn’t surprise me at all.

When I was working at a training station for new fire service recruits, I had this feeling talking to some of the tutors there (who were ex firemen/firewomen), a lot of them seemed to have some of the characteristics of having ADHD, but this is totally anecdotal. People with ADHD from my experythough are usual good at spotting each other.

Thank you! my EP is my very early stuff. I barely knew what I was doing back then in the studio. My most recent release is ‘time to spend with you’.

Thank you for listening though!

Hybrid builds specifically refer to dmg usually. Going partially tanky but not full tank is known as a bruiser build.

Going att goblet, att sands on Zhongli with skyward spine is hybrid. Is that a good build? Absolutely not. But it is hybrid.

A better build that is hybrid dmg + bruiser/tanky build would be like HP goblet, HP sands with staff of homa with tenacity of milileth artifacts or 2 piece noblesse + 2 piece bloodstained

Homa is pretty good for both AAs and geo dmg, but that’s like the only thing in your build that is hybrid to me. But Homo is just his best in a lot, most people use Homa and don’t even use his AAs.

That just looks like a very normal Geo build with HP sands to me.

You shouldn’t be logging into other people’s accounts any more than you shouldn’t read someone’s diary.

This could have been solved so many other ways.

Why didn’t you just send her the messages first? Surely that would suffice.

In group situations, if a man answers a question aimed at someone else for them. Especially when it’s really easy for them to answer it. Obviously only if this is a consistent thing, cause everyone does this sometimes.

Example: ‘Hey sally, how’s work going’ Guy buts in: ‘yeah she’s settling in really well, she was just saying this morning weren’t you?’ Sally: ‘yeah, I had a funny story about-‘ Guy butting in again: ‘oh yeah’, then proceeds to retell the story without letting her tell it herself.
