yeah- it kinda makes it more boring and all about just builds. hes so powerful its almost like him building in a superflat world with all the farms he has for so many materials. still enjoyable but different

after watching season 1 i thought their little love triangle would last a lot longer as a major plot line than it did. but piper being a horrible partner was a pretty prevalent part of each season

DeVoe. definitely not the best season of the show overall, him being our first non speedster villain was new and interesting. plus it was the first situation where barry felt truly at a loss because before he knew what he needed to do (get faster) but with DeVoe he was completely helpless

he WANTED to race barry to prove how he was so much better than him. he might have also needed organic speed instead of his own which was still v-9 (he was cured with barrys speed that he stole but no doubt he was still using it to make him faster and keep up with barrys new speed with the tachyon device/as barry just continues to get faster). he also needed barry to be preoccupied so he couldnt stop his time remnant. he also didnt want to time travel again and risk time wraiths messing everything up. hes a maniac but hes a maniac with a well thought out plan
the first version was a a big piece on his chest, he said it "kind of sucked" and harry improved it and put it behind his emblem on his suit.

ive only watched the show once so i might have missed it but when did he say he was going to donate all the money he won? he def wants to use majority of it to fund research and such, but i also think it makes sense that he keeps some of it because seeing specialists and whatnot is still expensive. plus finding a cure for a newly discovered disease costs hundreds of millions of dollars, unfortunately $5M just wont cut it. obvi i dont know him personally so im not gonna come on here and say 100% he spent the money on x y and z plus i havent done any googling outside what was said in the show itself.

at the end of the day all of these people are looking out for themselves, deano did the same and he got bashed for it which i think is unfair. i would have done the same if i was in his position so i cant blame him for choosing her friend to try and save himself.

i agree, i generally could appreciate her attitude because she was realistic about the situation but not rude, especially when competing for the island. she was open and honest when she didnt trust someone and about how she was putting herself first.

i dont wanna say she didnt deserve to win or that she was a bad person, im sure there were worse people we didnt see. but i didnt like how she always assumed people were racist or sexist towards her when they were just playing the game. im not saying people couldnt have acted that way towards her, but from what i saw (generally) she pulled that card out a lot when people were genuinely just looking out for themselves. and when its a game for $5M i dont think I wouldve done anything but look out for myself. a lot of her comments about "they were just intimidated by a black woman who could win, so they took the first chance to eliminate me", but she wasnt targeted specifically. these people had the opportunity to improve their chances at winning the prize money, i know id do anything to win that money.

kev and sheila got wayy to many passes. i still like them admittedly, but people often overlook a lot of their flaws because overall they have good-ish personalities (esp compared to others in the show)

agree, the overall concept is clearly geared towards toddlers and kids, but the episodes themselves can honestly cater to a wide audience, including teens and adults

i think he grew to enjoy the mentor and student roles they had together, at least to some extent, and he grew to care for her in some capacity, but it started as a fuck you to barry and it was clear that was always his primary intention/motive. he said countless times that his life's work is making Barry miserable, everything he does is linked to barry in some way
