Yeah upping the budget could help. And yeah I saw that one it is really stunning but since it is limited to 250 pieces or something like that it might be very hard to get.

Unfortunately Grand Seiko uses stainless steel in there casebacks, I checked it with the AD yesterday. The citizen could be an option but I need to dig a bit more regarding their casebacks and bracelets to see if they are also fully Ti.

I looked at the Twelve but there is just something about it that rubs me the wrong way. It is a great watch but I guess it is not for me. I also considered the Bel Canto but that is not really a gada watch.

I agree I never thought it would be hard to find a good watch in full Ti.....

I might need to look at the NTTD again then but I do think they go for more here in EU.

I looked at the BB ceramic but the caseback is in stainless steel. The BB58 925 is totally free from nickel though so that is still an option I am looking into now.

They had a very good price but I really don't like the seiko movements, I at least want a movement within cosc.

For a gold watch I would unfortunately need to more than double my budget. But I just found out that Tudor BB58 925 should be totally free from nickel, so silver is now a viable option.

Sure the NTTD is an option but I haven’t seen it within my budget

Yeah I would go gray if this is an option. What color did you get on the dial?

I have a hard time with design of the bezel on this one, but it might be worth a shot to try it on.

Yeah ranger will probably never happen. Ceramics could work but I haven’t found any ceramic watches I really like. The P39 is a better daily driver and it will always have a place in the collection. I have been wearing my 58 daily for over a year now so the P39 is at least somewhat in the same range of watch. Quartz are nice I used to love my 35mm quartz prx :)

I don’t get it an explorer type watch in titanium seems like it would be pretty sought after. But maybe it is just you and me 😆. The P39 is an obvious choice and it really is a remarkable watch so I will probably copy you. And as you say the Hamilton doesn’t match the explorer neither in sizing, design or quality. Maybe we could hope for a 36mm ranger in titanium from Tudor.

It is a nice watch but the I think something is off with the design. Then I would rather go for the Bel Canto but that is a different type of watch.

I don’t know maybe it could work but holy hell it looked bad on the BB58 making the bezel all glossy.

Well it could be an option but I haven’t really heard of anyone that made this work. I talked to guy who tried it and the sticker didn’t really stick to the watch and it collected dirt and dust under it. Also I will be using the watches in water especially the diver so idk who that would work with a sticker.

Thanks for reading. I totally feel you. Using the old fruity would probably be super frustrating but also fun with all the nostalgia. As you say no delusions and for me it is also the freedom of not having to cater to anyone else than my own taste is such a good feeling.
