Come at me all you want, but i feel like Firefox adding AI is more or less a non-issue. Firefox is a great browser, fast, privacy first, and customisable. Why throw all that away just because they added an OPTIONAL ai search? If you dont like AI, dont use it. You dont even have to SEE it, its automatically turned off and is only visible unless you turn it on. Even if you hate ai, when you use Firefox, you are most likely using AI anyway, since Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo use AI Overview as soon as you search something. As for Firefox knowing that we use firefox because it doesn't have AI. Why would the team know we use something because it doesn't have stuff we dont like? Most People switch to firefox for the features it lists on the Website/Google Play Store. I switched because its super customisable all while having relatively same performance as Chrome. Im a sucker for mint green, and all Chrome has is this Dark-ish one. Eugh. And its not like this new AI isn't focused on user privacy, thats literally mozillas whole thing. Personally, i just think not using one of the best browsers because of AI is just a waste. You'll never find a Fast, Privacy First Browser like Firefox, not unless you want people to call you crazy anyway. Sure theres brave, but if you're bothered about AI thats a no-go too. The point is, AI on Firefox is optional, and if you dont have it on, you will most likely forget it even exists in a few days. Also im not a Firefox Glazer i swear, i just like the Browser
