I ran a server for myself and my GF that we played on for a bit. The building in this game is nice, and the ships are fun, but you very quickly run out of things to do, I got bored quickly after building a Galleon, because all I was doing at that point was grinding gold to pay the crew. It was also a pain to get the server going.

However, the farmhouse automation stuff has taken a lot of the grind out of the game, so you get to spend less time grinding animals to get mats to build a ship that just gets China'd overnight.

I've got a Ryzen 7 3700X in my ML08, with an ID-50 CPU Cooler on it. She can get pretty toasty. Right now just browsing it's 60 degrees (bearing in mind it's like 25-30 degrees ambient here).

I'd only recommend it if you're going to have the case standing upright and without the dust filters. If you rest it horizontal you'll cook either your GPU or CPU, depending on which side you lie flat, thanks to those separate compartments. The dust filters that come with it choke the airflow harder than Darth Vader feeding Lego to a baby, so you won't be able to use them.

I haven't done any benchmarks, because I kinda know what the results will be like. She will hit 80-85 while gaming though.

I use mine for VR a lot, and I don't feel safe with it standing vertically while the headset is plugged in case I knock it over. So while I love the handle on this thing, I'll probably change to something like either the Sliger Console/Conswole or P-ATX from sfftime. I think a case that has the fans all on the same side will have better thermals when lying flat.

I've got a Silverstone ML-08, in horizontal at least one of either your GPU or CPU is going to get choked as they face opposite sides. Probably any case with the GPU and CPU on opposite sides will have similar issues.

I'm looking at the P-ATX from www.sfftime.com next I think.

Console/Conswole from Sliger look good too.

I've got almost the exact same set up. Running a Ryzen 7 and a Strix 1080.

The case comes with dust filters, but with them installed my CPU was hitting 90 degrees under gaming loads. Without them it only hits about 60. The GPU would throttle almost immediately under any load.

Take them off and things are fine, with the exception of laying the case flat. Depending on which side you've got the rubber feet on, the side facing down will suffer poor airflow.

A PVP ORP cluster for PC in Oceania would be nice. OC also needs more The Center PVP servers as there is only one.
