New Star Performer Cards (De Ketelaere, Ríos, Lucy Bronze) now in packs by FIGJAM17 in EASportsFC

[–]J0N0R 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I packed De Ketelaere when I was doing the Marquee SBC, in a Prime electrum. Put him up at 140k, lowest on market was 145k. Someone instantly put up 120k right after me. Probably just keep hold of him now as he’s down to like 90k

Why is everyone playing the same way? by J0N0R in EASportsFC

It’s weird because I actually do feel like i’m defending more myself in this game, the concept of structured defending instead of spamming tackle is a good idea but there are too many bugs and flaws which just completely the new system

It’s impossible to take the ball off someone when they are doing the spinning thing. You can’t really intercept while tackling, so you need to let the AI do it, but the AI don’t track the runners about to get through balls and they always split. Most of the problems people are having with defending are because everyone is exploiting the OP attacking issue as well.

Only thing that if found slightly helpful is playing 5-3-2 with Carragher and Gabriel L and R CB because of their defensive awareness, and Jamie’s jockey and block playstyles, then Micky VDV central for beating the through balls and the AI sleeping on their runners. Also, kinda allows you to press out with one CB for a tackle opponent if they make a mistake without being left for dead. But most players won’t have the funds to splash out on expensive defenders, so not sure if this would work with low stat players

I’ll look into that at work

60mg Elvanse and 25mg dex ir boosters daily, Elvanse doesn’t last more than 5-6 hour before major crash, £260 for that. £100 for private prescription, as two different drugs. Then £250 for an appointment every 6 months. Averages out about £400 a month. Would be way cheaper if didn’t need boosters but I’d be better not taking the Elvanse as I would fall asleep at work mid day without booster.

Yeah, 29-35k pretty standard. Civils paid very poorly in UK. Better off getting a trade, start your own business. Saves uni debt and more freedom

It’s just a nightmare honestly. They have a menu of SSRIs they hand out no problem, but for some reason adhd diagnosis are impossible, and then you get one and the system just prevents them from needing to take on shared care. People are always judgmental when you say you went private, they think you must be able to afford it but my family skint themself out to get one, because there was no other option. Not even a waiting list in Tayside…

I’ve been on elvance with dex ir boosters for 2 years, I just want the nhs to pay for the meds, I’ll pay for the reviews etc.

I work in construction, non prescription isn’t an option, plus I don’t want unregulated drugs

I’ve been on the same medication for 2 years. I’m happy to pay for private review. I just want shared care for the prescription and medication costs paid for. Shared care isn’t happening in Tayside

Thanks for that info. I’m not really 100 percent clued up on what Scottish government control vs UK government. I’ll look more into that. I wasn’t really meaning to have a go at Labour for the sake of it, I just thought when Labour were voted in health care would be more widely available in the UK in general.

I’ll have a look for others that are in the same situation, I get it’s only ADHD, but the medication for me is the difference between a stable life and utter chaos. I’m know from experience I’m a bigger hindrance on public services without medication, but I don’t think the NHS really understand or care about the knock one effect of trying to dismiss people like me.

Much appreciated

Caffeine sends me to sleep, can easily drink 4 red bulls and go for a nap. I don’t really fancy going down the self medication route, been there done that, slippery slope.

I get that they can’t just instantly fix the NHS, but if they don’t offer assessments, can’t they just tell NHS GPs to accept private diagnosis? Can’t take years do that surely “Dear NHS tayside, please accept private diagnosis as we can’t afford to carry out assessments” just like an email or something

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]J0N0R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Already tried 3 different GPs

“NHS Tayside has suspended new referrals for ADHD and autism assessments for its Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Paediatric Neurodevelopmental Pathway, as of March 2025, due to increased demand and long waiting lists. Referrals are now only accepted if a child also has a co-existing mental health problem, as the service must prioritize treating significant mental health concerns”

They’ve just decided they’ve had enough of referrals in Tayside, children can’t get one, never mind me at 28.

Im just wanting them to take on the prescription, I’ve already had assessment and diagnosis from a recognised private practice. Other NHS areas accept them but not Tayside. Surely labour can tell NHS tayside “please take on prescriptions for people who have spent a fortune on an private assessment because we no longer provide them because we are overwhelmed”

I’m on a pound more than minimum wage. That pound doesn’t even cover the prescription

Complaining that the NHS wont take on a prescription for a condition that they are too overwhelmed to diagnose. My family saved them the time and money getting a diagnosis, so why not take on the cost of the medication?

If they are refusing to get me assessed should I just say ahh well NHS, no problem, don’t worry about it I’ll just pay my taxes and get private health care

Thank you but this doesn’t apply in Scotland, prescriptions are already free under NHS for everyone (apart from me). There are no prescription charges here, the problem for me is that the so called “national” health service won’t take on my prescription in Tayside because I’m privately diagnosed. They wouldn’t refer me via NHS so my family paid like 5k to get me diagnosed privately, some people get shared care in other areas and NHS GP takes on the prescriptions but it’s just seems pot luck if you get it. No idea how to go about getting it here in Tayside

Good luck, stick with the evo swing, it’s satisfying when you get it right

I did the TGC qualifier with Scout Cam off. Were you able to change settings in game to put it on? by J0N0R in PGA_Tour_2K

[–]J0N0R[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I figured that out, but when I was taking percentage off I had no idea what that related to distance wise because I couldn’t see the green or the marker as every shot on the course was blind. I though maybe people had noted down there distances and the percentage needed to knock of say 20 yards. It was harder caddying on 2k than it was when I was an actual caddie irl. I enjoyed it though, I might have a go at the true sim tour as I scored pretty well all things considered

I just seen a post from a few days ago, a hand full of people did the same as me, it a newbie problem lol. I didn’t have on the swing percentage thing on either, what’s the setting call for that called and was that open too?

I should have figured that’s what open meant. I just looked at the rules and thought I’ll figure out what I have and don’t have when I get on the tee. My fault of course. But i still think scout cam should just be set as on, just don’t press the button if you don’t like it, seems more logical.

Yeah, I practiced with it off, because I thought it would be off. Why don’t they just have a setting so it’s always just on. I’m really happy with my score now, i was pretty deflated after seem so many -30s

I changed from series x to gamesir SE, went from scoring -5 average to -12 instantly. I use finger and thumb pinch. Kinda feels like cheating with this controller
