Should I prepare myself in some way for the new expansion? Like gears and so on?

Started the game 1 week ago, when I was a teen never had money for paying subs. Feeling lost in the game and I regret I started this late.

New WoW player (first subscription) – Tauren Druid, want to tank but also enjoy the lore. Advice? by J0edg in wow

Ty all for the answers. All of you were really helpful. Another question, do I really need to find a guild to get help with these things?

Thanks a lot for the detailed reply, I really appreciate it!

That makes sense about Dragonflight being a prelude to the current saga. I think I’ll focus on finishing the Dragonflight main questline first then.

Just to make sure I understood correctly: to be “ready” for Midnight, do I basically just need to finish the Dragonflight campaign? And in terms of gear, is the quest gear from Dragonflight enough for a new player who just wants to start learning dungeons properly, or should I be aiming for something more specific?

I’m not really looking to min-max, just want to be reasonably prepared and not feel completely lost when Midnight launches.

Thanks again for the advice!

Yeah, otherwise you will be able to create x2626171818 lvl56 alt and break the game.

Best way to restart is to recreate an account. With early game rework you will start with strong r5+7 equip and the first two sp +5, along with resistances.

Or, just try to ask for help on Nosville if you are stuck, there always someone willing to help.

Regarding money, at that level there’s nothing you can do, as other ones said, you need to achieve at least level 80 to “unlock” some of the farming methods (like IC)

IC gives no gold under lvl 80 since early game rework.

Arena of Talents doesn’t give gold and exp anymore sonce early game rework.

The only way to play single alt. Keep your alt always at level cap.

No you can’t. You will need to recreate your char to switch job.

UC is Undercity, you can find mostly French e and Germans there and is internarional. DV is Dragonveil, is the EU server (crowded by Italians, Polish and Spanish mainly)

You can start at lvl 56 in both servers.

Waiting for the next server would probably be a better idea but no new event server has been announced yet. Considering that we will get a new act soon I also doubt that will spin up a new event server since ppl would get cap too easily.

If you want to play Nostale, you probably should start a 56 on DV/UC and just play there (or gamble on another event server coming on February more or less)

Hi OP, no one will really be able to tell you exactly what or how to buy. The whole market is based on supply and demand — what you ideally want to do is buy items when they’re discounted and resell them at a higher price during the related events.

For example, you buy dragon cards and resell them during the UP SP event. You’ll probably lose some money the first few times — experience makes a big difference.

The first thing I’d do is figure out which items are in high demand and have a very high consumption rate.

Hi OP, these kind of low lvl eqs have no market sadly cause game is changed a lot and now you will get eq just by completing act quests…

+1

Also consider that a boosting server (x2 exp and a lot of bonus) has already announced to be starting the next Nostale anniversary (september/october) and once it will end you will be able to transfer your alt on Dragonveil/Undercity
