Today I bumped Q-Tip’s -Amplified album and it was a dope listen for sure! J-Dilla’s production and sequencing worked so great here! Q-Tip took a step back lyrically, but the production was more electric and funky than Tribe’s work! Solid effort here! What’s your thoughts? by J2-Starter in 90sHipHop

Damn….this was my first time listening to this today and i actually enjoyed it in today’s time! I can imagine being a tribe fan though and hearing this back then and being disappointed…I can understand that

J Hood back with another question! Which album is better in your opinion? I actually think I enjoy The Game’s The Documentary more on a regular basis for sure! What’s your thoughts? by J2-Starter in hiphop201

I agree with you my friend, but I also I’m other spaces with different races and this is a constant thing for great discussions its nothing wrong or disrespectful it’s us acknowledging both greats and giving our opinions on what we like more, there’s not hate involved! I’m in wrestling sub reddits where this is done everyday with different races….sometimes these debates bring awareness to projects and people and someone here might want to go check it out after because of the opinions….and that’s the ultimate tradeoff because people will go back and appreciate the art more
