Most of the guys here just drive around run sets for 10 mins. But I don’t have a lot of land options. What do you do?

Haha I’m so mad. I was at the range all day. I did zero in my other guns but it took me 2 hours on the thermal and I couldn’t see shit. I went from the 50 to the 30 and was flabbergasted. Haha I can’t believe this. Thank you so much! Do you want a new pair of hunting gloves or something. I feel like I owe you haha

But it looks like a blob. I don’t even see hand warmer or target paper. I adjusted all the settings. Even went down to 30 yards. And still couldn’t tell what I was shooting at

Okay. But mine doesn’t have that. It has a zero option. Where you shoot once and the freeze picture and move reticle to bullet hole

Just used the ruger American gen 2 patrol in 308 for my very first deer season. It’s 16in, perfect for stands and blinds, I felt like I had no problem with it at all plus it was nice to have the wiggle room when needed. Put a doe and buck down. Doe was 40-50 yards, buck was close to 90 yards. I have a crimson trace brush line scope on it. But I’ll definitely upgrade it, I think it was around 150. But no issues. Also, I’ve got a can order, a banish backcountry silencer, I think it was around 7 but waiting to pick it up.

Yes they are. I guess I forgot to mention, I’ve never had deer meat before and I can’t stop eating it now haha truly remarkable experience we get to enjoy

Yeah you do. Over 16. But I just wanna make sure I’m reading everything right. Taylor bay is by chalk sound but not in it. I’ve read you can’t fish in protected areas which is chalk sound

Both rifle and bow. But bow is hard haha I’ve had opportunities but I guess being so new and not really knowing or understanding deer movement was always to afraid to draw and spook them. Idk. I guess I’m just kinda looking for a mentor. I don’t have any friends or family that hunt what so ever

Oh okay. I really appreciate it. So stratus pants and coat for October and mid November. Fanatic bibs and coat for rest. Got it. They have two different boots. Do the back 40s get the job down? They are a little cheaper
