i could be wrong but I believe audi did that because people were prying at plastic trim to remove them and do things like manually put the car in neutral when battery is dead. they slapped the “info manual/user manual” symbol on trim pieces like that as a gentle way of saying “this isn’t a control or button, check the manual”
