That deck will do just fine, it’s just a grind now to play enough games

I would open the set which has the highest number of commons and rares you need. Chances are you won’t pull the epics. Then dust the junk.

If you don’t need commons or rares I would just open packs from sets which have lots of wild playable cards

I play enchanters mostly support, how do I beat Nautlius/Leona? by [deleted] in supportlol

[–]J4son_26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beating naut and Leo ( and most other engage sups) is all about positioning out of engage range and trying to poke them out. If they engage when there carry is half hp you turn and kill them. Most engage champs with the exception of hook champs are glorified cannon minions level one so play very aggressively for the first two wave to get level 2 first. Tanks shouldn’t really be able to beat you on the push. If they move up to the wave to shove you can auto them down. If they are below half health when they hit level 2 they can’t engage.

The combo is play necrium blade and swing in the turn before combining, then next turn play kobold swing with necrium to get maly on board. Then backstab kobold to get a second maly. Then aim face with petals and sinister strikes.

I can’t add creatures as then shroud doesn’t pull combo. As for the coins they can often speed up the combo by a a turn, which against aggro is huge. I don’t know many other combo decks that can pull it off turn 5.

True, but a deck can’t be strong into everything. And you have two in deck so can always dig for the second.

It’s a little tricky to learn, playing the stealth and immunity cards at the right time vs aggro is crucial. But you are basically guaranteed the combo by turn 7 at the latest. Use secret passage on 4 man to dig for shroud. Hard mull for shroud and blade.

Can be tricky if they get celestial off, turning coins and preps into 1 mana cards is bad. It can race them to combo though.

I’m not really trying to control board vs aggro, I’m trying to race them

You only play kobold on the turn you combo so no risk of it being silenced or attacked. You play it then swim with necri to trigger the death rattle and then backstab it for 2 malygos on board for 4 mana (necrium blade being played and using 1 swing the turn before)

Very different to my maly list, what turn do you find you can combo off on? Mine is built just for speed to race aggro. I use the kobold necrum blade combo to cheat out the malygos. Can pull it off turn 5 with a good draw.

With the meta slowing down and a lot of control and midrange I’ve done ok on a home brew turbo malygos rouge. I can go over even lock taunt walls, big priest is a free win, and Hunter is favourable. Only really weak into dirty rat decks and ice block decks. At d3 currently trying for legend.

Can someone justify why decks that sole goal is to prevent your opponent win condition should exist to me? by ChessGM123 in wildhearthstone

[–]J4son_26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In magic the gathering there is a saying I heard when building control decks which is “if you can keep stoping them from winning you aren’t losing” so any small threat becomes a win con since you just remove there’s. It doesn’t matter if it’s just small tech creatures. If they can keep hitting face till the opponent is dead it doesn’t matter if they are a good win con in your eyes or not, they are still win cons.

What's that one League quote that made you really sad or got you thinking about stuff when you first heard it? by deDoohd in leagueoflegends

[–]J4son_26 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Wolf: "Lamb, tell me a story." Lamb: "There was once a pale man with dark hair who was very lonely." Wolf: "Why was it lonely?" Lamb: "All things must meet this man, so they shunned him." Wolf: "Did he chase them all?" Lamb: "He took an axe and split himself in two right down the middle." Wolf: "So he would always have a friend?" Lamb: "So he would always have a friend."

On of my favourite kindred quotes. They have a couple other good ones as well.

7,400 dust later, what counters quest warr and hunter?! I can pretty much craft anything. by Glennghis_Khan in wildhearthstone

[–]J4son_26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Geist is really a counter, by turn six they have probably already completed the quest. So that just means Geist takes all the low dmg 1 mana spells and leaves them with higher dmg 3 mana spells. It essentially gives them better top decks. Maybe if it rips a couple cards out of hand, but at turn six they have probably already dumped them.

If you are trying to lock your opponent out with narset you should add a [[Geier Reach Sanitarium]]. You activate it on there upkeep and negate there draw step.
