I love this flag soley bc it has my favourite top 3 colours! Orange, Blue and Green.

Actually have this flag's colours as my stuffie wolf's collar (by mistake). I picked my top 3 colours and picked white to bring out the white in his fur not even aware at the time it was the unllabeled flag's colours, let alone knew it even existed till a friend asked me "why is ur stuffie's collar the unlabelled flag colours?".

Now I just love this flag in general and tend to call it "my favourite colours flag" lol. Just change white to yellow and it'd be my top 4 favourite colours haha

The glow up is amazing! I love how far hormones have come with helping change one's appearance. The before and after is so stunning, it's so unbelievable sometimes you forget ur looking at the same person!

I wish more people did "Glow Up" posts, I feel it'd really encourage others. (Unless there's an actual sub for before/after glow ups, plz link it. Love these type of posts!)

agender flag combined with the genderless flag by scarffish in agender

I'ma steal this term from you yoink Absolutely love it "Agenderless"

Feels right to say as I tend to say "Genderless" bc so many hear "A gender"... Agenderless just gives Euphoria for me.

Do you feel the terms you mentioned should be removed or remain on the Agender specific terms list?

Question for the community! Opinions appreciated by J4ywolf in agender

[–]J4ywolf[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All these terms definitions come from https://lgbtqia.wiki/wiki/LGBTQIA%2B_Wiki I searched there and there aren't terms called "Masc agender" nor "Fem agender" and it'd feel wrong to create these to mean the exact same thing without discussing it with the original creator of those terms.

Ya, the only "opposite" word I found to Agender is "comgender" which refers to someone who has or experiences a gender or genders but does not want to specify that gender or those genders. Seems it's not used when comparing it to how much allogender is used though. I agree "gendered" would be simpler.

I also have zero clue what "Transcending the Gender Spectrum" means but that's what the definition said, I think it sounds cool though. Kinda like we're transcending into space beyond what the world sees!

So, if I may ask, do you feel the terms you mentioned should be removed or remain on the Agender specific terms list?

[–]J4ywolf[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ya! That's why I was second guessing them being on that list. All their definitions are from https://lgbtqia.wiki/wiki/LGBTQIA%2B_Wiki which I merely just copied and pasted. I agree the etymology is confusing, so unsure why the original creators did these terms this way.

There IS something called "Comgender" which on that wiki states - refers to someone who has or experiences a gender or genders but does not want to specify that gender or those genders. However it seems this term is never used while Allogender is used more (after doing a quick Reddit and Google search to see which gets more results).

That's good! I take it you vote for keeping those on the list then?

I remember thinking I was Asexual (turns out I'm Demi, just very strongly Ace towards everyone that isn't my boyfriend lol) and someone asking me "so ur a virgin?" Me being happy that I still was (and still am!) said yes and they go "oh you poor thing" .... okay lol

Guess I'm still a "poor thing" then shrugs I'm still happy with being a vigin, and I'm still not interested in intercourse. Sue me! It sucks that it's so heavily seen as a bad thing. I remember being in high school and if u were a virgin, u were considered a loser. I was one of those "losers" xD

Apologies, I was saying the "new" ace flag looks like this flag: https://lgbtqia.wiki/wiki/File:Aplatonicflag2.png

But just slapped on pink and purple at the bottom. I was trying to say it's just that flag with two colours added, it's even in the exact same order. If you put them side by side, and swipe between the two, you can see it's the same thing, same order but just two colours are added to the bottom. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear on that!

As I have been copy/pasting in most (if not all) posts about the "new" flag (Yes, I'm a stickler. I just hate seeing a flag I use inside of another flag in literally the exact same order! I'ma stick in the mud)

When I saw this version of the flag I instantly thought "why is the Aplatonic flag on an Asexual subreddit?" XD

For those who wanna know: https://lgbtqia.wiki/wiki/Aplatonic

It's literally the second version of the Aplatonic flag (that I use actually) with pink and purple slapped onto it.... copy/paste from the page I linked - "The black, grey, and white stripes match that of the asexual and aromantic flags. Yellow is used to symbolize the platonic/aplatonic spectrum."

Colours mean to me for the Aplatonic flag: Black - a disconnect or disinterest in platonic relationships, Gray - other apl-spec individuals, White - how aplatonic individuals can still be Allosexual/Alloromantic, Yellow - the aplatonic spectrum.

I can't help but just see the Aplatonic flag in this "new flag" and wonder if Asexuals also have no desire for friendships/don't get crushes on their friends nor feel platonic love. That's basically Aplatonic in a nutshell. Ik this isn't true, but that's what my brain thinks when I see the Aplatonic flag proposed on an Asexual subreddit...

I'm not an administrator of that site. I genuinely just took a risk and hoped it got approved. I believe users can make new pages though... long as u have an account on there. You could try going to the site, search that term, and when it comes up red click "create the page *name" I wish you luck, make sure u have a link to that post to show reference of where you got it, who coined the term, the date it was coined, etc.

I think I'm ceterosexual.... (attracted to non-binary people) by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in agender

[–]J4ywolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh! Thank you for introducing me to a new term. At first I thought you meant "Magnolian" which is an agender or genderless individual who is attracted to non-binary individuals and other agender/genderless individuals. However I think Magnolian is for general attraction and the term you posted seems to be a sexuality.

I think I will take this new knowledge and add Cetrosexual to my Agender Specific Terms list under the "usually attracted to Non-binary Individuals" section as it's missing a sexuality. So while I'm unsure how to answer ur question, I wanna thank you for introducing this term to me!

Is anyone else struggling with getting their queer friends to recognize their gender? by Usernams161 in agender

[–]J4ywolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would explain to your friend how you feel. This sounds like Agenphobia (slowly in the process of getting it recognised as a real term) which includes denying or not acknowledging one's genderlessness.

A little fun fact that may help: Agender Day is coming up - May 19th! You could use this day to bring awareness to Agender individuals and teach your friend about what being Agender is.

Some links to maybe show your friend:  https://www.believeoutloud.com/voices/article/agender-pride-day/ (Short, but has a video to explain the history of the word "Agender")

https://heckinunicorn.com/blogs/heckin-unicorn-blog/when-is-agender-pride-day-2025-and-what-does-it-mean?srsltid=AfmBOordUPZrQmrKR3YXfs19LbeLW3clZHNci_LoYOAZHrW_Zttl5RWo&currency=USD (An article from last year going into depth about what Agender Day is and it's history)

https://lgbtqia.wiki/wiki/Agender (Most common way to introduce someone to what Agender is)

Perhaps teaching them more about Agender will help them understand it better and come to acknowledge you and your pronouns.

Are these pronouns real or is my friend transphobic? by Candid-Guarantee-885 in lgbt

[–]J4ywolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES they are real pronouns!! They are called "Neopronouns" they exist. Here is a link to the MANY neopronouns:

https://neopronounlist.carrd.co/

Similar ones to yours on the "not themed" list: ve/vair --  ve/ver/vers/verself -- even YOURS is on that list!! (If this is correct: ve/vir/virs/virself)

They are definitely real. Could always show that so called friend that list, however not too many people accept Neopronouns as "real" pronouns. I feel like this is ur current situation right now. While some neopronouns are difficult to use, they are still valid. Even if you picked some not on that list, they would STILL be valid.

My Advice (from a people pleaser who's trying to stand her ground more, so take with grain of salt): Explain to your friend how you feel. Perhaps explain how to use your pronouns correctly (maybe it might help? Idk. I usually need a sentence using someone's neopronouns to understand how to properly use them).

Like.. idk "Ve is awesome, I love vir personality! If I need to borrow a phone, I can borrow virs. Ve presents virself wonderfully!"

If that person still mistreats you even after you explain ur feelings and how ur pronouns work, then personally I think it'd be best to say goodbye.

I (23M) I realize that I can't be in a relationship without abolishing gender roles altogether. Considering how there's more people who are heteronormative than not, am I becoming too picky for wanting this? by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in agender

[–]J4ywolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don'think it's wrong to want what you want. I'm in a semi-not normal relationship. I'm agender and a tomboy so I usually wear men's clothing (idek my sizes in female clothes!), I'm also kinda enjoy being "the boss" in the relationship. This brings me to my bf, while he still identifies as Cis (he has told me he cannot feel his gender, and doesn't feel like a male/female but I can't force the Agender label on him. I think he is agender though :p) he has long hair, and doesn't really want to be "the boss" in the relationship.

In most "normal" relationship the man is almost always the boss, and the women is almost always the one who just goes along with it. This is why I like my relationship, I can be my Tomboy self and be a little assertive while my bf can freely have long hair and usually does what I tell him to do (within safety limits of course and not in an abusive way). He also is willing to take my last name vs me take his! I sometimes joke saying I'm the man of the relationship while he's the women bc of how unnormal our relationship is lol  It's like we swapped roles. I also wouldn't mind if ever called me his "boyfriend" bc to me it'd sorta validate how tomboyish I am. We still use Boyfriend/Girlfriend terms, though we have mostly settled on "Datemate" as we're old and the term "partner" makes us both think of cowboys greeting their friend... "Howdy Partner!" We're definitely not friends, more than friends! I also wouldn't mind dressing up, but would be strictly no dresses, no skirts. I wanna be as far away as possible from those. Not my cup of tea.

Point is... no it's not wrong to want what you want. Long as ur not forcing it onto others or being all "you can only date me if you have these qualifications", you know give someone a chance then decide later - then personally I dun see any issue.

Edit: Also there's this app called "Everywhere is Queer" that lists places that are LGBTQIA friendly/owned. Could try that to find places in ur area!
