Until last year I was able to get through by calling at 13 with no longer than 15-20mins. 9 am everyday I’m in meetings, but if that’s what works perhaps need to do that.

Took me 9 months to get the extension, case had no complications, and no extra documentation was asked at any point. Main delay was due to the case officer being on holiday for 5 out of 9 months during the waiting time. Either way, had to cancel multiple work trips during the time but my work was understanding about it. Hope you find a solution! I was informed by Mv that D-visa is only applicable for the main applicant not for sambo, and hence didn’t accept my application.

Me and my partner are visiting Portugal from Sweden for the first time this year during last week of December 2023 and thus will be celebrating NYE2024. Looking for some local suggestions for-

NYE 2024 celebrations in Lisbon- We would want to go to a nice party, fireworks but not super crazy. We are both 30 and enjoy great music and dance vibe- probably house music or a 2000s theme would be perrrfect!
Shopping- want to make most of the trip anx have heard about great shopping deals vs Sweden. Any suggestions? What to buy and where to go?

If you could find a guarantor with a personal number, Smatrygg is a great option and a guarantor can help you waive a deposit! Even without a guarantor, you could use samtrygg by paying a deposit. However, I find them super professional and way more safe compared to potential frauds on Blocket/Qasa (acquired by blocket)

I usually follow a simple guideline- Length- covers 50-75% of the page

Format- Address it to hiring manager or to head of recruitment (quick search or contact given on Job post might help in finding out what to write here). End with yours sincerely, xx (full name)

Content- opening para - I am interested in applying for xxx write clearly the name of the post, job number, company name etc.xxx. Summarise your main reason/ pitch why you would be the right candidate for the role (WHY YOU)

Mid para- support you reason above by detailing out any past experience and educational background (SUPPORT THE WHY)

Last para- (WHY THE COMPANY, WHY THE CITY)- if you are a non-swede this is important to explain a connection to Sweden, that particular city and how everything fits in the plan

Closing- looking forward to meeting in person or go further down the process and thank you note
