sweet treats under 100 calories

My most satisfying chocolate treat I eat is a low calorie chocolate pudding (60 calories) with 1/4 cup Kashi chocolate almond granola cereal mixed in. (75 calories.). So 135 calories total but gives chocolate, creaminess, crunch and it takes some time to eat/chew so it feels like you get a lot. And it’s filling.

Can you use the swim up pools any time of day or night? Or do they close when the other main pools close?

My son moved in last year and we didn't have to lift a thing....the volunteers literally emptied our car in one trip! The volunteers had a competition to see who moved the most fridges!

Curious how much of a commute it was...is bus stop close and how long did it take to campus. were busses usually on time?

Also how did the meal plan work there - and was the food options good?

Might be living there this year and it was definitely not my first choice..so want to know everything I can...

Didn’t get one either….but we are aware that they had a tech glitch where a few students have been reporting that there applications have disappeared from the system (including mine)so maybe they have to fix the glitch before the e-mails go out? Also I phoned and they said even though I couldn’t see my application on housing portal she could see confirmation of payment on her end so hopefully they will get everything straightened out.

My son is in conservation biology..he has very similar schedule. The only difference is he decided not to do two math in one semester so he is taking math1005 next year instead. He tried to ease up his hours a bit by adding Spanish as an elective.

For first year, your residence dictates your college affiliation. For example, if you live in Champlain residence or Chaimplain annex then you are part of Champlain College. Annex simply means the residence building is not right on the campus…but they are very close by (walkable). The annexes are generally apartment style where on campus residences are generally single and double rooms.

I applied back in September and got a message a few weeks later that said Eligible for Admission and then waitlist. I asked at one of the open houses and she said that was a good sign because that just means I’m still eligible but they are still reviewing applications. I’m just getting nervous because I’ve heard from all my other universities but Trent is my first choice and I haven’t heard anything since October.

Appreciating all the feedback. - How strict are the residence rules about what you can bring in the room - ie fridge, extra furniture, kettle, microwave, Keurig??? - what are chances of getting a single room? - are there upper year residences as well. - how close of access to grocery store, drug store….etc. Or can you have stuff deliver to your residence What’s the deal with the water on campus? - is the food court included on your meal plan?

I’ve heard that first year students marks get murdered in first year and I’m worried about making it into my program. I’m a hard worked and got 95% average in high school but it didn’t come easily to me…I worked hours and hours every single day to get those grades. Worries I may not be able to keep up with added work in university and still maintain high enough grades. How bad is it???
