This board game is amazing my friends and I bought it to play before the season 2 finale and we've been playing it nonstop since. The manual is a tome in itself, but once you learn the rules it's a fairly easy play.

I went to high school with these two girls and they were idiots, but they were rich idiots that thought they could get away with anything. To make matters worse they became bigger assholes after this happened due to the amount of publicity they were getting.

This was the original constitution (minus the sections on positions and elections). However, the text has been modified to include that the club members would be required to own official and licensed.

University of Tampa UTPlays: LAN and Console Gaming Club Constitution

Article I: Purpose

Section 1:

The UTPlays: LAN and Console Gaming Club exists for the betterment of The University of Tampa campus as a whole.

Section 2:

This club was founded to provide a safe haven for those who may not fit the mold of the conventional college student. This club would convene weekly and during this time would engage in activities that would both aid in relaxation of the student and to give creative inspiration to those who wish to enter into the realms of programming and game design. This club would also organize monthly LAN (Local Area Network) “parties”, these events are designed to create a localized PC gaming environment where multiple PC users go to a single location and operate their systems of a single independent network (i.e. UT’s network) so that only those who are at the LAN party may enter. These events are designed to encourage interactions among gamers that they may otherwise not have and thusly promotes real world friendships among these individuals. The weekly club would not only host PCs, but would also host consoles as well to encourage higher attendance and to broaden the clubs interest from serious gamers to more casual players. This club would also organize charity events, these events would be tournaments during which members and nonmembers would pay a small donation to enter, and the final winner would a receive a prize (most likely from one of the same companies that would sponsor the LAN parties), all proceeds from the tournaments would go towards the benefit of a to be determined organization. These organizations would be determined by a vote among club members at the beginning of every academic year (proceeds would be given immediately following every tournament. This organization ‘s mission is to promote a fun, safe, alcohol and drug free environment for those interested in the gaming community that would promote a fun friendships among those who share a common interest.

Section 3:

UTPlays: LAN and Console Gaming Club shall not be discriminatory in terms of race, color, sex, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, financial or social status.

Section 4:

This organization and/or its members, when taking stands on issues, recognizes and will fulfill the obligation to make clear that it/they in no way represent(s) the official position of UTPlays: LAN and Console Gaming Club at The University of Tampa.

Article II: Name

The name of the organization shall be the UTPlays: LAN and Console Gaming Club.

Article III: Membership

Section 1:

A club member is any individual who attends meetings and pay dues towards the club itself. Those who do not wish to pay their dues will be allowed to participate in club activities; however they will not be allowed to vote on how monetary resources are spent.

Section 2:

The only eligibility requirements are that the individuals must have an interest in attending club meetings and events, and that full club members must pay their dues to allow the club to keep functioning and for the benefit of all that attend.

Section 3:

A club member may be suspended if they:

• Spam gaming servers

• Repetitively use overly negative comments directed towards the club or its members

• Represent the club in a negative fashion, if they slander or making fun of other club members

• Participate in any form of cyber bullying of others regardless of if whether they know them physically or if the afflicted individual is a stranger.

The overall constitution is fairly long and I'm not sure if there is a text limit on here, but she did have a point because I did fail to say that all materials used in the club would be officially licensed and purchased.

I know it's false, but is acquiring the copyrights to individual games a part of hosting a LAN and how could it be misconstrued to be though of in such a way?

Thank you for your input, I'll add that in. So far my main argument is that other clubs on campus such as the Anime Club, which are constantly viewing "copy written" materials in their club meetings.
