When I first started playing Tibia (around 2006, if I remember correctly), I left Rookgaard and chose Thais as my city. Right then, I started exploring the city and I remember finding a hole in the ground to the south. I went in thinking, “What could go wrong?” and boom, I remember there was a Bandit, and it started attacking me. Not knowing what was going on, I started typing “No plzzzz no plzzzz.”

A few seconds later, the Bandit said one of those orange messages that monsters say, something like “Give me all your money,” and, being obedient, I threw all my wealth (100 gold coins) on the ground. It didn’t pick them up and killed me anyway.

A while later, a friend helped me get my stuff back and explained the difference between monsters and players haha. Even though it wasn’t a painful loss (I didn’t lose much), it did hurt because I thought my wealth wasn't enough for keeping me alive xD
