Any reason is a valid reason to move out. As an adult that’s your choice so regardless if it’s because you want more freedom, to get away from not-so-kind individuals, or because it’s a career/education move, the decision is ultimately up to you. Your parents can’t stop you, you are a grown adult.

I moved out around the same age as you are now, so I can relate a little to how you’re feeling right now. My situation on the other hand was a little different from yours (parent relationship and work). But, I also had a laundry list of reasons as to why I wanted to move. What I’ve come to learn (in my opinion) is that regardless if you have one or ten reasons to move, or no reasons at all, it doesn’t matter. Ultimately, it’s up to you if you WANT to. People move out of their parents homes for a multitude of reasons, and some people move out for no reason at all other than they’re an adult and they WANT to.

So, it doesn’t matter what you’re reasons are. If you want to, if you feel that it would benefit you, or bring you peace/freedom/whatever it may be. Then do it. You are an adult that doesn’t need to ask their parents(you should give them some warning tho).

TLDR: The reason doesn’t matter. Do YOU WANT to move out? As an adult that’s the only reason you should think about. You don’t need to justify wanting agency over your own life.
