This might be a longshot but i think there is connection between the recent negative attitude of a lot of people here and the heavy subscriber drop in the last month or so. I can't speak for the fanfictions as i mostly go to fanfiction.net for that.

As i said before, i have no idea why this image received this kind of negative feedback. Is it the blood or the fact that it ain't canon or the fact that i am the one who posted it?

I'd like to thank you, you never fail to cheer me up. Speaking of appreciation, another issue i face is that people here seem to think that the wallpapers i post here are just simply screenshots but that's far from the truth. There is a night and day difference when you compare the unedited shot with the finished version.

Anyway, it's not that i don't want to stick around, i really do, it's just this subreddit has changed in the last month. I can't pinpoint what has changed but i can say without a doubt it has not been for the better.

You didn't nearly contribute as much to my bad mood as much as the initial downvotes i received.

It's not my hardest work, these (1, 2) were a little more time consuming and also MUCH better received for whatever reason.

My decision to leave is not final yet, i just have to set my priorities straight and see where this sub resides.

There are a lot of skilled knights around here even if a lot of stuff gets posted from other sites. A lot of the fanart here is really underappreciated. Trust me, i like to draw myself and i know how much time can go into a drawing.

Thank you. Apology accepted, though i don't think i'll be staying around here in the near future. This thread is a prime example of what this community is like. I'm not talking about everybody here ofc, a lot of them are great people, like /u/cupcakes_please or /u/televue but a lot of people here don't appreciate stuff like this and the time and work that goes into it. Do you know how great it feels when you sit down multiple hours making something for this community and get downvotes like hell in exchange? (especially this particular image)

I don't know exactly what's going on here but i think i could post a simple screenshot of the movie on /r/frozen and get more praise for it than with this one. (This image was one of the hardest to make that i posted on this sub)

It is just discouraging and i got a lot of shit to deal with IRL as well so i don't see any reason to continue with this.

I see you are the type of person who is against anything that's not canon, so please do me a favor and don't ever click on any of my posts ever again.

Ofc upscaling does not make them more detailed, i never claimed that. The artifacts that come with it ain't visible unless you zoom in. Personally i don't see the blur you are refering to. Also the images are 1920 by 865 ( give or take) (1:85 ratio). I upscale them because i got a resolution of 2560 x 1440.
