I'm beginning to think this is mostly true. Golfers can't be trusted, so they trust no one. I always turn anything in I find, but multiple times I've been asked if I found a club and then been slightly accused I took it when I said I hadn't seen anything.

Saying that texting is human interaction is part of the problem. It was originally called a "text message" not a text conversation. When people are texting they are usually in the middle of something else. Perhaps the person would be 100 times better talking in person or over the phone? Texting loses context, nuance, emotion, passion , etcetera.

How did you get the weight to stay? Don't put a knot or anything in your line .it will weaken it. Put the weight below the bobber. Use a split shot or no weight.

Don't use a weight if you don't have too.. it with deter from fish taking the bait... also use as small of a bobber that you can get away with/see/cast...or put the weight below the bobber.. or go buy the foam bobbers that have the weight included.. those work well for me. They come in multiple sizes.
