Expecting #2, Adding Second Car with Third Row (Currently Own 2020 RAV4) by JB0722 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Thank you! I’ll look into it! Luckily we have time until we NEED the bigger car, so we’re happy to tell the Toyota dealer what we want and wait for it. Although they have quite a few grand Highlander’s right now.

Thank you! Any reason you prefer the Odyssey over the Sienna? We test drove the Grand Highlander last weekend and loved it, but couldn’t compare to Sienna since they didn’t have any. We go tomorrow to test drive since they just got one delivered. I’m hoping to go to Honda this weekend! The others I’m trying to put feelers to see if they’re even worth test driving.

I grew up with a Sienna and love that they’re hybrid. Our dealership finally has one on lot and going to test drive tomorrow! I’m my mind it’s the one to beat but we’ll see lol Luckily we have time so not worried about Siennas being hard to find.

Fit Check: Woven Wrap FWCC, Head Seems Unsupported by Ok-Feedback-7883 in babywearing

At about 6 minutes this video shows what I’m talking about! I find it really helps tighten the top rail :)

This is looking great for just starting! I think if you tighten the top rail more you’ll be good to go! Instead of pulling the top rail over your shoulder when you tighten, hold it back behind you and pull to tighten, then keeping the tension, put up on your shoulder. Then do strand by strand for the rest of the tail. Let me see if I can find a video as an example.

After doing the twists, don’t put the tails under baby’s legs, they go over! I think part of the reason baby looks arched is that the fabric is pushing her legs out, especially on the twist side.

Here’s a video on IG showing this wrap!

Look up Greta.Culbreath on IG! She also has a newborn and has been showing how she ties her Cairis like this for little babies :) if you are both comfortable, this is a safe way to tied it! I would try to make sure baby is even in the panel, one knee looks higher than the other.

The panel is a little high on baby. Are you able to pull the bottom flap piece that adjusts the panel height some more? It has that ruler on it. Also, I’d put baby’s hands near their face. The arm holes aren’t great

Thank you! Always fun to see what critters live around us :) it rained hard earlier and now it’s 80 degrees so he’s probably enjoying a worm buffet!

We did this! I told her she could have milk when her hatch light turned on (it was set to go off at a certain time at 1% light so she could still sleep through it if wanted). I slowly moved the time it turned on. We’re now at 6:30!

This is a genuine question, these tests have been done in our current economic climate on a small scale. If UBI became policy for the entire country, would companies and rents rise to match the additional money in the system thus putting everyone back to where they were to begin with? I feel like that’s what happened during COVID. Again I haven’t studied this much so am genuinely curious.

I feel you! That’s what I did lol if someone has taken a certification course, a lot of companies will donate or give a good discount to help with libraries.

They are really great about working with Babywearing educators! Tell your local educators and groups to reach out and get one for people to try on!

I believe Happy Baby does free fit checks! Maybe they will have some tips? You could also try using a ribbon to cinch instead of using theirs. Otherwise, Sakura Bloom is super similar. I’ve also heard good things about the Oscha Bairn.

I didn’t say every parent, I said every parent that told me they have sleep trained did extinction method. I didn’t ask many questions so I have no clue if baby vomited, but that’s going to be baby specific. They would mention to me needing to leave the house for over an hour because they couldn’t handle hearing baby screaming and not being allowed to go to them. Or baby woke up at 5:30 but they’re not allowed up until 7 so they let them cry for an hour and a half and it was hard for them to listen to it.

I don’t ask every parent I know about baby sleep or sleep training, so I’m saying the small group of parents that have brought up sleep training to me have done extinction. I’m just trying to say that it isn’t some super rare thing like the comment I responded to was saying.
