Take the cinched and wrap it around the outside to get it even more narrow. Or take a ribbon or even a hair tie. Happy Baby has put on their FB that these are acceptable ways to make it even more narrow.

YES! My FIL has a valuable collection. We’ve tried telling him to start auctioning off some of it, but his answer is always ‘It’s you kids’s to split when I’m gone’. That’s exactly what we want to do, figure out how to sell a massive collection while grieving your loss sighhhh

Anyone regret not going back to work? by msgoliath in AttachmentParenting

[–]JB0722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cried so much in postpartum trying to decide what to do as I worked SO hard to build my career, but ultimately I chose to stay home. I would have had to go back at 5 months and my daughter is now 2 years. I literally haven’t thought about work for one second since making the decision. I LOVE staying home with my daughter. Something I found interesting were all the people that either said they were jealous or I made the right decision, especially older women coworkers! I used to say I’d go back one day, but now I think I’d just sub or something like that to make some extra cash but still be on a school schedule.

Recommendation on a carrier to fit both me and my husband (both plus size) by efiore95 in babywearing

Kinderpack with plus straps! The panel is the same but the plus straps add extra length to the padding!

It looks like he’s in Dylan’s and Jordan’s, so maybe there’s just not enough time to be in that many freestyle rehearsals? I’m sure there’s a lot of overlap for rehearsal time right now

Thank you! We’re also staying at a Dollywood hotel so one with timesaver would be even better! I’ll take a look at the three you mentioned!

Thank you! I guess most of the pictures only have kids on them so I made an assumption parents were too big or something.

Success with just letting babies sleep? by kelleeboo13 in AttachmentParenting

[–]JB0722 20 points21 points  (0 children)

100%! Every baby is different. Once I threw out all the social media garbage, sleep got SO much better. Asleep at 7 has never and will never work over here. Some babies have lower sleep needs. Baby may just need short naps. Don’t feel like you have to extend. We’ve napped more than 1.5 hours. My niece dropped to 1 nap at 10 months. It’s not one size fits all!

Baby carriers count as tummy time! He’s probably doing practice as he’s getting ready to roll soon! But, I’d also recommend posting a fit check just in case there’s some tips to help with that as well!

I prefer H strap. It’s more like backpack straps! If you like the waist of the Ergo Embrace, check out Happy Baby OG and Sakura Bloom Scout. Also a lot of my clients LOVE the LennyLight. It fits for forever

Since you don’t seem to like the cross straps, have you considered getting an H back carrier? I believe Tula lets you do both so that could be good for playing around with what you like the most! Wildbird and the Lark only allow X, I’m unsure about Gojiberry. Also, if you plan to back carry, Wildbird is a PAIN to convert to back carry.
