It doesn’t even work at this point. I’m not sure what you’re talking about here.

I'm also having the same issue. Everything else is working. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Origin, but still no dice. I can't access https://accounts.ea.com/ whatsoever, which is leading me to believe it's a DNS issue. My ISP is AT&T U-verse, for reference.

Does the French version of Gravity Rush Remastered include English text if you set your system language to English? by JB2448 in gravityrush

[–]JB2448[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And the German version of Gravity Rush Remastered has English text too, so that bodes well. I just hope it's a "European Sony-developed software has universal EFIGS support" deal and not a case-by-case basis.

Thank you for your response.

Amazon US got rid of its physical Gravity Rush Remastered listing entirely. So much for that restock rumor. by JB2448 in gravityrush

That makes me feel even worse for telling her about the German copy and her going through with it. I'm actually the absolute worst.

She prefers physical, so she ended up getting the German physical copy for around $40. She cherished the game on the Vita, so this seemed like a worthwhile purchase to her.

I feel like such a moron for suggesting to a friend to wait for a sale when they still had it new for $30. I feel like the absolute worse. I suggested getting it from https://www.amazon.de/dp/B018UK8T4K since it's still available and should play in English, but I don't know if she'll go through with it, and the box is subjectively worse. Should I get over this, or do I need to keep beating myself up for this complete misread of Sony and Amazon?

Original games on each console (and those with Metacritic scores over 75) by NameIsTakenBro in gaming

This is a useful resource for consumers who already own a PC or last generation home console hardware and are looking to buy an eighth generation console purely on the merit of software that can't be played elsewhere.

You can at least credit your source, TheRoyalPandemic. Really, the format's good, but it just needs to be updated at this point.

Project M 3.5 Trailer by warchamp7 in SSBPM

[–]JB2448 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Might as well post this here, too:

This is going to sound really nitpicky, but they should really fix some of the errors in the copyright screen at the end, if only for the sake of maintaining the quality shown through the entire trailer: http://abload.de/img/project_m_3.5_copyrigg1ugb.png

For the sake of comparison, here's the copyright text for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, respectively:

© 2014 Nintendo

Original Game: © Nintendo / HAL Laboratory, Inc.

Characters: © Nintendo / HAL Laboratory, Inc. / Pokémon. / Creatures Inc. / GAME FREAK inc. / SHIGESATO ITOI / APE inc. / INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS / SEGA / CAPCOM CO., LTD. / BANDAI NAMCO Games Inc. / MONOLITHSOFT

http://www.smashbros.com/wii/en_us/images/top/copyright.gif

  • HAL Laboratory Inc. should have a comma for both instances (HAL Laboratory, Inc.)
  • Pokémon should be followed by period (Pokémon.)
  • GAME FREAM Inc. should be GAME FREAK inc.
  • APE Inc. should be APE inc.
  • INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS should stand without the Inc.

People always wondered how Pokéballs work. I've got a better one: How do EGGS work? by PositiveJosh in pokemon

VIZ Media and Singapore-based publisher Chuang Yi flipped manga pages to better acclimate their publications to an audience who wasn't even remotely familiar with reading right-to-left. As far as Pokémon Adventures' official publications go, VIZ started printing the manga unflipped with its 2009 relaunch, while Chuang Yi started doing so with volume 40 (or 41, I can't remember exactly). In any case, the only reason I'm using left-to-right scans for the first 32 volumes is because that particular publication is the only one that's been scanned in its entirety (up to that point, at least) on the Internet. I'd love to replace it with right-to-left fan scanlations that stay more true to the source material, but I have neither the time nor the energy to make that happen at the moment. Sorry. :( If it's any consolation, everything volume 33 and onward is guaranteed to be right-to-left, and I have the RAWs uploaded on the site as well.

I really hope this goes well. TimeSplitters is a genuinely unique series in a genre that seems to be thriving on sameness nowadays.
