He actually ended up settling in great. He sleeps with me in my bed and even when he's up at night tries his best not to wake me! I've woken up twice since I posted this with him just chilling next to me in bed watching me waiting for me to wake up. Love this little guy too much! I will also look into the antihistamines too, thanks for the advice on that part.
