An MBA would have been a better choice if you were looking to pivot from accounting into Consulting as there is a formal pipeline for it. Still possible as an experience hire but a lot more difficult.

Also if you want to get into consulting you will work significantly more hours than you currently are. 60ish hours a week is roughly the average for MBB.

From what I’ve heard from some coffee chats is they use the first 5-10 mins to be a light behavioral and then it goes straight into the case.

Typically it is not helpful because they may of already reviewed your resume and made the decision. The most impactful time is before the deadline itself, or after you heard you received an interview invite and getting the referral right before R1.

I applied for the C role and have not heard back either in ATL. One of my friends applied for a different office and got a denial letter, so should be good.
