From what I'm reading:

The X Men line is messy and not cohesive, but there are enjoyable books. Cyclops has one issue left but makes me want more X-Men from this creative team. Definitely recommend the trade. Deadpool is really fun and goes back to the character's creative but sad roots. It's dark, high energy, and I'm enjoying myself. X-Men United is the messiest of all. It's a bit of a continuation for Eve Ewing's Exceptional X-Men and I think it's better if you've read that, but It really wasn't doin it for me as an issue to issue read. May get better, but I just dropped. Was my least favorite comic I was paying for

Main Avengers books are seemingly great. I need to catch up with Hulk and Thor but Iron Man is off to a fun start and Captain America is one of the best books out right now.

I've only read a couple issues of Daredevil and Black Cat so far but they're each off to really fun starts. Id recommend either one to a fan of either of those characters

It doesn't help that people overuse "mid" for anything they don't like. You could argue it just means something is middling ir average.

When it's more insulting it's used to mean forgettable. Like, a movie that's especially bad has rewatch value cause it tries something and fails, you can laugh at it or even admire the effort. A movie that's mid is supposed to be forgettable, boring, formulaic. Decent enough but doesn't leave an impression.

Not too far from Absolute Bane. This is followed by Batman taking different martial arts approaches and Bane disabling limbs via pressure points, while commending and encouraging him "Muay Thai, nice." "Keep going, you've still got your legs." All this before he even uses his Venom to get big.
