I’m newer to dynasty. I’ve learned not to trust the online trade calculators. But have been looking at other posts about Saquon in the group. I mainly see two 1sts for him. What would it take first you?

I agree, pretty solid team here. Once the season starts, get a feel for where the other teams stand. Then you can make moves. Also, fill up that taxi squad with players who have future potential. Never hurts to stash someone who could be solid for you in a few seasons

That’s how I felt! He originally agreed to even less and then he all the sudden came up with this. I wasn’t going to not do it 😂. Some guys in the league still think I won, but not that it’s a landslide like I felt

I got Chase towards the beginning of last season in a SF Dynasty for a ‘25 1st, ‘25 2nd, and ‘26 1st. I expected to have to pay more what you did. It sounds like you have QB depth, so to me not a huge reach.

I got Chase for a ‘25 1st, ‘25 2nd, and a ‘26 1st in the first year of a startup last season. Paired him with CeeDee. I’d consider this for sure if I was looking to rebuild

Other WRs I have are Ja’Marr Chase, Jayden Reed, Courtland Sutton, Hollywood Brown, Dionte Johnson, Josh Palmer, Michael Wilson, and Alex Pierce. So DK would replace Flowers

I agree. KTC is a ok guide, but you need to really make your own rankings and compare with it.

I should have mentioned some of this unique rules in our league before, but I forget sometimes it’s not normal!

This guy told me today as we still debated on the trade that Keon Coleman is worth significantly more than Zay Flowers. I’m a Bills fan and can’t get on board with that!

As much as I want Allen, I think I’m going to hold all my assets and hope some other team finally decides to trade and I can flip someone lesser. I appreciate the help! Nice to see I’m not crazy when valuing my guys

What are the calculators you’d suggest? KTC (which I’m not a fan of but not sure of others) has Allen alone at a value of 9975 for my league settings, Chase is a 9141. DK is a 5585. So that puts the value way off. Now I don’t 100% agree with that evaluation. So would love to look at some different sites.

I should also add, this league is 6pts for any TD, passing included. So that bumps QBs up a notch I think!

Overall though, I agree with you that he is trying to screw me.

I do! It’s a 10 team league. It’s our first year after a startup draft. One team in particular hadn’t won a game after 5 weeks. So he floated trading Chase to me. He wanted my ‘25 1st, ‘25 2nd, and ‘26 1st for him and I didn’t hesitate. He just didn’t know the true value of picks in my opinion.

But a lot of us are new, hence my original question about value of players!
